TRUMP: TWO-FACED LYING LIZARD

“We have it totally under control”

I hate to be writing this on the anniversary of the deadliest attack on our country, which took place on September 11, 2001, but we are being attacked again. Sadly, the guy in charge does not understand the gravity of the global pandemic. He would rather just ignore it. The American COVID-19 death toll has exceeded 191,000 over the last seven months, which is the numerical equivalent of sixty-four 9-11 attacks. We know that lack of communication and a failed airport security system lead to our vulnerabilities and deaths on that fateful day in 2001. Now we have learned another major piece of the coronavirus story, and it’s not pretty. We can easily apply “the deer in the headlights” metaphor to Donald John Trump. He’s damaged goods.

Most caring Americans have heard the tapes of famed journalist and author Bob Woodward as he interviewed the 45th President of the United States. Trump comes across much differently in those recorded discussions when compared with what he has been telling us. We now have confirmation that Donald Trump is two-faced, meaning he’s insincere and acts one way in certain situations and in contrary ways in other circumstances. Trump has been lying, distorting and misleading America about the coronavirus from the very beginning. On one hand, it’s been a cover-up, and on another, fraudulent application of public health and safety information.

Caught Red-Handed in Lie

You should read the transcripts of the interviews. On February 7, 2020, Trump said that he had confidence that China’s president, Xi Jinping, had the disease under control, but added ominously, “It goes through air, Bob. That’s always tougher than the touch. You know, the touch, you don’t have to touch things. But the air, you just breathe the air and that’s how it’s passed. … And so, that’s a very tricky one. That’s a very delicate one. It’s also more deadly than your—you know, your, even your strenuous flus. You know, people don’t realize, we lose 25,000, 30,000 people a year here. Pretty amazing. This is more deadly. This is 5 per—you know, this is 5 percent versus 1 percent and less than 1 percent. You know? So, this is deadly stuff.”

On the 27th of February, Trump said on national TV, “View this the same as the flu and treat this like you treat the flu.” I could ramble on and on about what the Donald has told us about the COVID-19 crisis and how all of them run contrary to facts, but the simple truth is that he lied, and lied, again and again. Trevor Noah of The Daily Show said, “The good news is that he wasn’t being stupid, he did comprehend how dangerous the coronavirus was. But the terrible news, the President of the United States lied about it over and over.”  And I will add, killed people.

Trump cannot even control the messaging of his administration about the worst pandemic in 100 years, so how in the hell could his team possibly have a virus under control? I was angry on 9-11 because people in our government had forgotten to consider possibilities. We learned later that agency rivalries and wretched communication lead to that atrocious assault on our nation. How many Pearl Harbors or 9-11s must we suffer before we grasp the importance of paying attention to intelligence and planning? Trump’s malfeasance in the handling of the COVID-19 global pandemic is equal to the deadly tragedies of December 7, 1941 and September 11, 2001. This President has the blood of American victims on his hands.

Donald Trump’s main excuse for lying is he wanted to keep people from panicking. Well, that was the same lame reason the government offered for not releasing its research on UFOs. You know, better not scare the kids. However, no one we know about has died from a UFO encounter.

Us Americans want to believe our government will provide support when we need it. Many people in power have complained about the government, even when they ran it. I was amused by Ronald Reagan’s open negativity toward “big government,” when he was mainly responsible for its expansion. Trump wants us to believe in him, not the institutions around him. It’s an out-of-body experience for the guy in the Oval Office to complain about so many things while also saying we should reelect him because he is the only one who can fix them. Huh?

If this so-called Law & Order administration thinks that lying to the American people is good governance and a lawful way to protect the public, then they are harmful and need to be removed from office, ALL OF THEM! It’s easy to ridicule Trump for saying he’s a stable genius, and then learning that he provided 19 on the record interviewers to Bob Woodward, a seasoned and strategic journalist. Trump’s move was not that of a “genius,” it was the miscalculated mistake of a dummy.

Woodward is the consummate professional writer. Think about it. Woodward and his partner Carl Bernstein figured out President Richard Nixon was lying. In the end, Nixon resigned in shame. In that case we had a dishonest president whose tapes proved Woodward’s case against him. Now we have Trump doing and saying whatever he can to impugn the reputation of Mr. Woodward. The orange administration has already dismissed the act of lying by excusing such bad behavior as a position to help the American public feel good about a pandemic, you know, so they don’t panic. They now want us to buy the T-shirt that says, YOU MIGHT DIE, STAY CALM. They are saying Woodward’s new book Rage is nothing but a “political hit job.” That’s fucking nonsensical. Our bumbling President totally cooperated with Woodward, on the record! Who is the true idiot here?

The fact is this. The President of the United States lied, and people died. He lied; people died. Keep repeating that mantra because it is the truth. Donald Trump doesn’t deserve to be the president. He’s shown his true, empathy-empty soul. I am sure now that people know he lied about the severity of the virus, his lack of endorsement of social distancing and mask wearing and his neglect in creating a plan to save lives will be taken to court as soon as he gets out of office. I have a concern that the US Department of Justice will defend him because they no longer work for the taxpayers; they work for Trump. Our great nation is surely in a shitty position.

Donald Trump is the worst president in the history of America. Do you need proof of that? Just count the dead bodies. Don’t expect a memorial every year where all the names of those who have died from COVID-19 to be read out loud on TV. The people in this government just don’t care.

THE TAO OF THE DEAL

Xi Jinping versus DJT

Tao means a road, a path, a way in which one does something. It’s a method, doctrine, or principle which includes simplicity, patience, and compassion. The Chinese way of thinking is very different from our western mindset. They concentrate on the principles of yin and yang, signifying that that all things exist as indivisible and contradictory opposites that are in harmony with the natural order.

The Tao of dealing with China and Chinese people in governance and business is straightforward. They need to feel comfortable with you. More will be accomplished at a large meal with copious amounts of alcohol. They charge for everything and you are never sure if this is just local corruption or simply the way things are done. You either pay to open the office and play by their rules or you don’t get into the market. Surely Donald Trump has discovered that Chinese business dealings are different, but he doesn’t bring compassion or patience to the table… and he doesn’t drink spirits.

The American news media have been trying to interpret every word of every tweet in Trump’s trade war. His language has a great effect, and more and more people are becoming nervous about his bull in the china shop mentality. Keep your eyes on the health of the world economy. It appears that Trump is out to wreck it, but could he be right in the long run?

I wonder if The Donald understands that he’s not just bullying some local vendor. He’s going up against one of the largest economies in the world. Can he distinguish his enemies from his friends? He’s thrown out all the good advice sent his way and is navigating solely within his prejudges and conspiracies. His fatal flaw is a belief that a win for him means someone else must lose and hurt. Trump wants to pour salt into any wound he thinks he creates. This is not how Chinese people think.

There is a measure of truth within the Tao way. A man’s word carries weight and a lie is not to be taken with salt. As Lao Tzu said in the Tao Te Ching, “The truth is not always beautiful, nor beautiful words the truth.” Donald Trump brags that he has “the best words,” but his use of bullshit and lies is in direct conflict with ancient Chinese philosophy.

Trump is playing the stock market like a video game. He gets off on seeing his tweets turned into actions and responses from his fans and enemies. The President believes he can comment the market up and Wall Street has proven this to be true. If Trump says he’s ready to make a deal with China, the market goes up. When a few moments later he announces he won’t make a deal with China until the election is past, the market goes down. This is more than irresponsible.

Donald Trump reminds me of a third grader attempting to get the attention of his classmate by pulling her ponytail. He gets a scream but loses the bigger long-term deal. The reason he keeps talking about the stock market is simply to get camera time. When he feels like he’s losing, he says something outrageous and then sits back to watch the result of his bombast. If the press were really against him, like he claims, they would simply stop covering him.

The Chinese want to find a solution quietly and, as you can see, President Xi Jinping is hardly ever quoted. His silence drives Trump crazy. If our president really understood the Tao of the deal, he would know that silence is not lack of attention. But it’s too late to change Donald Trump. This person in the wheelhouse of our economic ship is a madman like Captain Bligh in Mutiny on the Bounty. Unfortunately, the rest of his crew are blind Republicans who couldn’t muster a revolt if their lives depended on it.

The Chinese will come to the table sooner or later, but their goal will have nothing to do with making Donald Trump look good or bad. They will focus on the principles. They have determined the natural order, not the whims of our orange fake-tanned President. They gather strength from their 3,000-plus years of history, understanding that the USA has not reached even 300 years. They know they hold the cards and, like a good poker player, they don’t gloat or show.

The Tao of the deal is simple. The Chinese hold much of our debt as a country. If China wanted to be a player in Trump’s game, they would call their loans. That would bring the US to its knees and destroy its economy. China won’t do that, however, because of the harm it would inflict on the world economy. The simplicity is not in winning but crafting a deal that brings a win-win to all involved. If only Trump, a self-proclaimed Christian, could comprehend that this “Godless communist country” is just as capitalistic as we are. The difference is how they manage their money.

China has 1.386 billion mouths to feed, while the United States has only 327.2 million people. Mao Zedong, the leader of the conversion to communism, lived in caves and ate insects during the revolution. Donald Trump’s only sacrifice in life was taking the silver spoon from his mouth to spout nonsense and conspiracies. He’s an empty blue suit with no real desire to learn about the ways people act and react.

The sooner we get rid of Donald Trump, the sooner we will get back to the natural order of things. If he had kept his mouth shut, the economy would have gotten him reelected. Now, smart money is seeing the weakness in his inflexibility and lack of knowledge. He’s simply the wrong guy to run the economy.

Read About The Country We Love

The book that tells it like it is…

Gold, God, Guns & Goofballs shows how we’ve wasted our GOLD on bad wars and corruption. While GOD is there for many people as a spiritual enrichment and the provider of glowing feelings, the truth is just praying and believing will not change our major arc. We don’t determine who gets a GUN. We aren’t sure if we have paramilitary groups ready to storm the White House or a White Castle. There is no control of weapons. The GOOFBALLS with the power constantly try to manipulate us into spending more money on bombs and tanks and wars. When all of our institutions are infected with neglect and fall in disrepair, we will only have ourselves to blame. This book is not an antidote for the left or right, it’s an accelerant to move the middle off their collective asses to go do something positive for America.

KIM JONG-UN SLIPS INTO CHINA

Stormy Daniels Applies Maximum Pressure

Well look what we have here, a President who is pushing a certain domestic agenda while the rest of the world is wary of our inconsistent leader. There is substantial proof that many of the ideologically driven beliefs of this man are being pushed through the system with even some codified into law. No one in the Republican party is pushing back on his bad ideas.

On the world stage, countries no longer look to America as the main player in foreign policy affairs and détente. They have gotten together on their own despite this president’s desire to take credit for everything that happens.

Last night Donald Trump tweeted, “Received message last night from XI JINPING of China that his meeting with KIM JONG UN went very well and that KIM looks forward to his meeting with me. In the meantime, and unfortunately, maximum sanctions and pressure must be maintained at all cost!” It’s strange to hear him say that it’s “unfortunate” to maintain sanctions, I mean, tough guy, wasn’t that the whole point?

And speaking of tough guys, Stormy Daniels’ attorney, Michael Avenatti, filed a motion last night (3-27-2018) asking the judge in the U.S. District Court in Los Angeles to grant him permission to question Trump and depose the president’s lawyer, Michael Cohen. If you remember, Cohen admitted to paying the Stormy hush money out of his home equity account to help his friend Trump.

The porn star’s lawyer claims, “It is firmly established that a sitting president is not afforded special protection from a civil suit regarding conduct before he or she entered office” and went on to cite the landmark 1997 Supreme Court ruling in Clinton v. Jones, which established that a sitting president isn’t immune from civil lawsuits related to activity that occurred before he took office.

The old saying of what goes around comes around is best suited for this predicament. And for those evangelicals reading, “Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.” You have been deceived by this man and you may make the joke of giving him a “mulligan” but you are responsible for the weeds in your garden. And for those people who don’t play golf, a mulligan is an extra stroke allowed after a poor shot, not counted on the scorecard. A do over.

I’ll wager that the discussions which took place in Beijing included a serious question about what they should do about Donald Trump. It’s no longer a question about how to deal with the American agenda. It’s a deliberation of how to handle our crazy, raving President. While Trump believes his unpredictability and harsh tweets have accomplished something in this matter, other world leaders are just waiting for him to leave office so they can get back on solid ground.

China is controlling this diplomatic effort, while Michael Avenatti is piloting an effort to stain this presidency. Lawyers are leaving the Donald and it seems like the Trump’s inner circle is getting smaller. That isn’t necessarily bad for this frothing lunatic. With fewer people around him, there will be fewer people to blame when this all blows up. And it will.

With Avenatti chipping away on Trump’s fornications and Robert Mueller examining the Great Orange Leader’s financial webs and obvious lies, it won’t be long until the whole country knows all the facts behind Trump’s tactics and fear of Russia.

He’s afraid of something, and everyone agrees it’s not a hoax or a witch hunt. Just now, CNN News is reporting that Rick Gates, Paul Manafort’s partner, had contact in September and October of 2016 with, who some believe, are Russian intelligence operatives. Note: Rick Gates pleaded guilty and is working with the Special Counsel’s office. Remember when Trump said that no one from the campaign had any contact with Russians? He lied. Both Manafort and Gates worked for the campaign.

The Mueller investigation is looking into a corrupt manipulator and con man. We all know Trump is immoral and a sexual predator. We will soon learn, in detail, about his fraudulent behavior in business and government. He paid off the porn star and the Playboy bunny, and now he wants to screw anyone who gets in his way. He is a dangerous person.

Last night on the Daily Show, actor and author Sean Penn summed it up nicely when he suggested that “the American government needs to impeach the current president.” And that is a great way to say it. The government represents the people and the people need to count on their own government for course corrections. Without a vote in the Senate, we will have to deal with this dingbat for much too long. The day Donald Trump is removed from office, America will be made great, again.
