ALTERNATE FACTS AREN’T FACTS

Maybe the Pollsters Got It Right

The current President of the United States has a disease that cannot be cured by public pressure or smart people telling him he’s full of shit. Donald John Trump is in a farce bubble. Compounding the symptoms are his enablers who live in fear that he will explode and bring the whole structure of government and their existence down to the ground. They are all failures in government and will be marked for life as losers and liars. Did Trump win the election? Why would he say he did? Well, he’s also a liar.

Vox.com features excellent reporting and writing. This was their headline the weekend before the election: “Biden has a big lead in the polls, but can we trust them? You mostly can rely on the polls, but that doesn’t mean Trump can’t win.” I love how some people who are paid to predict the future always have something in their pocket for a grand excuse when they lose.

This is a good time to fill in some detail about my background. For more than thirty years I was an international radio broadcasting consultant, specializing in music formats. A major part of that job was designing, conducting, and analyzing research polls to determine what the public wanted to hear when they turned on the radio. We probed why a particular station was their favorite and why they listened to others. We studied the disc jockeys, songs and formats with high audience appeal and listenership. If we found the client station had low appeal with listeners, we made wholesale and dramatic changes. The job involved big risks taken with the potential of a huge rewards, like placing Howard Stern on the air at client properties. The basis of success in music radio is totally driven by pollsters at radio ratings companies.

There is a notion in statistics called the “margin of error.” It’s typically a small amount that helps users of a study understand the possible impact of errors, such as miscalculation or change of circumstances. Now one might ask, why the “miscalculation” Larry? I once knew a researcher named Larry, thus the reference.  Larry was a straight shooter. He would answer that question with lots of words about demographic distributions, geographical weighting and probabilities. You see, research based on a sample of respondents is only as good as the composition of the sample. For example, if you are trying to understand the perceptions of African American voters, you need a strong representation of Black people in the sample of those you survey. You must balance the sample so it contains the same total percentage of groups that exist in the population you are surveying. If your sample has more or less of the type of participants you wish to measure, you must have a scientific method of adjusting the results. If you’re thinking there’s a lot that could go wrong, you are absolutely correct.  Good research involves strict, scientific discipline with a reliable margin of error.

In the old days, Gallup used 3,000 people to determine what the whole country thought about everything from cigarettes to carports. But as America diversified and changed, that kind of simple sample became unstable and unreliable. Yes, the pollster got the 2016 election wrong, but they’ve gotten other things less and more important equally wrong. First, people don’t always tell the truth. Next, the method of contact has a major effect. In the old days of radio listener research, a survey began with recruitment of respondents using a home phone. Because it was easier, many people from the same household were used for the same survey. It could be that Dad filled out the survey for all the kids, meaning their use of the radio was not measured at all. Researchers knew this, of course, and factored the probability of such possibilities into the margins of error of their radio listenership reports, “the ratings.”

In today’s world, the internet is not a reliable instrument for recruiting survey respondents. It’s too easily manipulated by evil forces. We all know that. So, with each call that a surveyor makes in a study to find out who the American voters will choose, there is an assumption made about the probability of the person on the phone actually voting how they say they will. Of course, they could be speaking the truth on the call but later change their mind before the vote. Stuff like this happens all the time and researchers adjust their margins of error accordingly.

In 2016, former poker player and famous pollster Nate Silver and his FiveThirtyEight website gave Hillary Clinton a 72 percent chance of winning the election. In 2020, the same group forecasted that Donald Trump had a 10 in 100 chance of winning while Joe Biden had an 89 in 100 chance of winning: So, FiveThirtyEight didn’t get it wrong. As I am writing this, Biden has 77,242,061 votes while Donald Trump has 72,096,110 votes. Biden got 290 electoral votes to Trump’s 217.

I thought the videos of Trump supporters in states where he was leading chanting “Stop the Vote!” while in states where the President was behind, they were screaming, “Count all the votes!” were asinine. In baseball, we don’t stop the game in the fourth inning because our team is ahead, and we certainly don’t add innings after we’ve lost. This is the most dramatic demonstration of “population density” that I have ever seen. When I say density, I mean STUPID SHITS.

When the pollsters told Joe Biden’s campaign that Georgia looked like it was moving toward the Democrats, Joe, Kamala, Barack and many other notable Democrats got off their butts and travelled to the Peach State to pitch their guy. This was like Trump in 2016 seeing that Michigan, Wisconsin and Pennsylvania were in the play for him. He went there and it made a difference. The Democrats simply used the orange man’s playbook and it worked. Hey, if you can’t read and correctly interpret the numbers, you’ll never know how to work them in your favor.

When analyzing research, there are times you see what you want to see. You see big numbers, but ignore the margin of errors. When you see a possible error ranging from plus-four to minus-four, you need to take four off your guy’s score and add four to the other guy. That is the correct way to study the numbers. I always knew this election would be close because I kept my eyes on the margins of error. When trying to judge baseball teams against each other at the end of the season, the team with the most errors is not a good one. Large errors matter.

Did they say Biden would win? Yes. Did Biden win? Yes. So, before everyone goes on TV to yell at the pollsters, stop and think. Polling is but one of the many “sciences” that openly admit they may have errors. When you hear the new coronavirus vaccine has a 90% effectiveness, look at the fine print. There is a margin of error. For one, the sample doesn’t include the extremely ill or the very young. No babies were given the serum. Remember, it’s the sample that most deeply affects the results of any study. And not to be a bit negative, but a vaccine with 90% effectiveness means that 10% of the sample would not be protected and could even die.

I know these are hard times for people to understand. The emotional upheaval of COVID-19, people losing jobs and the political vitriol, make it easy to blame pollsters for not getting it exactly right? They were conducting these surveys under high pressure during a terrible time in the history of America. They got it right, even though not perfect. Just like America.

LUNATIC LOSER FROTHING AGAIN

Trump Takes a Dump on Democracy

I went into the 2020 election with the belief that it would be remarkably close. Because of the pandemic, I wasn’t sure people would be supportive of cult leader Donald John Trump. The man himself offered this truism, “It’s politics and you never know.” Yes, but what concerns me most is Trump is not a good loser and he will do tremendously awful things if reelected. He never had, and never will have, a mandate to rule. He’s a high polarity personality who pisses off as many people as he pleases.

It didn’t surprise me when, in the middle of the night with more than nine states yet to be decided, President Trump attacked the legitimate vote counting process and suggested any attempt to further tally ballots amounted to disenfranchising his supporters. How can this asshole say that? Well, it’s because he cares only about himself. Trump is a bad actor who should never have been allowed to walk onto the stage.

President Liar

The Donald said, “Millions and millions of people voted for us. There is a very sad group of people is trying to disenfranchise that group of people.” What the fuck is he talking about? Millions of people voted for the other guy, too. Are they just chopped liver?

Despite Trump’s misleading statements, falsehoods and lies it’s easy to see that his true motive is an ASSAULT ON OUR DEMOCRACY He actually stood there and insisted that states where vote counts currently show him leading should be frozen in his favor, PERIOD. No need to count them all; just make me the king. What a dolt!

He then extended his grievances and martyr-syndrome with this, “We were getting ready for a big celebration. We were winning everything. And all of a sudden it was just called off.” His endless gripe about fraud is nauseating. Who is he trying to fool?

Of course, he said he would go to the US Supreme Court and stated that he wants “all voting to stop.” The voting has stopped, you fucking idiot. It’s the counting that goes on. If neither candidate gets to 270, the House of Representatives will pick the president, and the Senate will select a vice president. Yes, we could have a president and vice president from different parties. Used to be that way.

After watching TV all night I don’t have the energy to write more today, but let me assure you that I will fight for a legal outcome of this election with all my strength. Please, let this end so we can focus our attention on getting rid of the virus.

OLD JOE & THE JERK

Pure American Political Graffiti

Most Americans have an aversion to the political season. Every four years it disrupts our lives, goes on far too long and the bombardment of TV spots, direct mail and information overload makes it seem like a giant circus has come to town. Of course, the political process also produces a lot of horse and elephant shit that no one cleans up. I am glad the debates are over, and we are coming to the end of this insanity.

There was no winner at last night’s debate. The Democrats are saying Biden won while Trump followers say their man really landed some punches. All that aside, what we clearly saw last night were the differences between old Joe Biden and the jerk we’ve come to hate, Donald John Trump. Like any two characters in a movie, both are flawed. One is harmlessly competent, while the other is dangerous to our democracy.

Trump is always on defense when it comes to race, racism and racist rhetoric. We heard Joe Biden distance himself from bad decisions of the past. He knows and admits he was wrong in his handling of Anita Hill during the Clarence Thomas’ confirmation hearing. Biden was a major force in the passing of the 1994 crime bill, and he’s played straight regarding its impact on African American men. In the past Joe has said, “There’s another part of my long record that’s being grossly misrepresented: the 1994 crime bill.” Last night, however, he was noticeably direct when saying it was a mistake. That has meaning in a historical context. When looking back at the impact of Ronald Reagan’s policies and executive orders on people of color, you would think Reagan was working for the Klan.

Perhaps Donald Trump’s most unbelievable line during the debate was his repeated statement of, “I am the least racist person in this whole room.” It’s a declaration not only impossible to prove, but nonsensical to any thinking individual. It reminds me of the disingenuous lie often said by a person accused of being a racist, “I am not a racist; some of my best friends are Black.” I have no doubt that Trump is a racist. Here’s an excerpt of a TIME magazine article, “In interviews over the years, Trump has credited his genes for everything from his health to his success, and he’s noted that his children and grandchildren will benefit from them as well.” Once you go down this path, you fall into the trap of what was once known as eugenics, a misguided medical movement of the early 1900s.

This extremely flawed theory was based on the work of British scientist Francis Galton, who concluded that superior intelligence and abilities were inherited. He coined the term “eugenics,” meaning “well born.” Galton theorized that humanity could be improved by encouraging the fittest members of society to have more children. If this sounds a bit like Nazi thinking, you would be right. Trump’s father Fred also believed this to be true, and he taught his kids that they were better than any Black person. My source is the excellent book written by Mary L. Trump, Donald’s niece. You should read it.

Joe Biden is not a racist. He’s just an old man who has experienced the pain of personal loss throughout much of his life. As a political operative, he had an ability to move things forward by bringing both sides together on many issues. I doubt that many of the idiots currently in Congress can be moved off their hidden racist agendas, partisan political dogmas and sick use of power, but, hey, let’s give old Joe a try. What we have now is clearly not working.

Donald Trump is a limited human being, at best. He’s like the game show host who has been parroting the intro line and explanation of how “we play the game” rap which has grown tired, cold and perfunctory over the years. Donald’s endless, repetitive babble leads to the same conclusion; he really doesn’t know what the hell he is doing. He used the debate insult that Obama and Biden built the cages, but no one swings the retaliatory bat with “But, Mr. President, you put the kids in them.” Trump brags about his record on immigration and claims the kids who were separated from their mothers and fathers are being treated very well. REALLY?

Biden landed a good debate punch with this, “I have not taken a penny from any foreign source ever in my life. I have released 22 years of tax returns. You have not released a single year. What are you hiding?” Yes, good question, what is Trump hiding? Few voters care about Hunter Biden. He’s just another offspring, cashing in, like Trump’s kids who aren’t talented, smart or exceptional; they are just Trumps.

Even with new debate rules in place, the Donald interrupted and tried to throw old Joe Biden off the trail, but we aren’t voting for a debate winner. We need a political resolver and uniter. Can Biden unite us? Will Biden unite us? Probably not, but Trump had his damn chance and failed miserably. So much for the myth that we needed a “really good businessman” to run the government. If that was the goal, we should have elected Mitt Romney, who is a great and wealthy entrepreneur. Trump has never been a good businessperson, as the whole world will learn when his tax returns eventually become known.

BusinessInsider.com had this to say about the virus policies of our government, “Upwards of 130,000 coronavirus deaths were ‘avoidable’ if President Donald Trump and his administration had acted sooner and implemented widespread public health precautions, according to a new Columbia University report released on Wednesday (10-21-2020).” The Columbia research is probably correct. Trump cannot defend his conduct related to this pandemic.

Trump stated that the virus is not his fault, and he graciously informed us it’s also not Joe Biden’s fault. Trump blames China and cannot understand why they didn’t stop its spread. His statement about COVID-19 containment proves the Donald has no idea what he’s talking about. If China failed to keep it from “getting out” of their country, then the Trump administration did a morally indefensible, hideous, blatantly incompetent job of controlling its spread across this land. Biden kept reminding us how bad the crisis is, while Trump made fun of Joe in his basement. Comic criticism of Joe Biden’s self-quarantine and mask wearing plays to the hard core Trumpers who deny climate change and the danger of this deadly virus, but most people think Biden should wear a mask. He’s an old guy.

Few of us have ever attained a no-cut, four-year, $400,000 contract to run anything, let alone the United States. Now think about this. Some say Uncle Joe is too old, but let’s not forget Trump promised to hire “expert people” to surround and help him. Remember that line, “Only the best people!” Well, he hired all the wrong people. More than 80 folks have left his administration and, oh yeah, some of them are in jail. One almost put a gun into his mouth to get away from Trump.

The real difference between Trump and Biden is simple. Biden will truly hire the best people. We need Joe only to get us through the next four years, repair Trump’s damage and truly make America great again. Make no mistake, that is exactly what he will do. There’s no reason to debate it.

THE ESSENTIAL DEBATE FOR AMERICA

Trump, Biden or the Soul of the Nation?

We can live a cliché, or we can live a lie, but in America, in my country, we get up every day, pull on our boots and do our jobs. We can believe what we want, and pretty much say what we want, but our actions are typically constrained by one driving, overarching force. It’s something that our fathers taught us, or our mothers demanded from us. It’s RESPECT.

The Clown & the VP

We respect our flag; we respect our neighbors and even if we think the person sitting next to us is a lunatic, we defend that persons’ right to hold and express their viewpoint. The totality of different people and their thoughts is the glue that keeps our country strong, diverse and successful. All of us are all cut from the same cloth embodied by John Adams and Thomas Jefferson, but it’s now clear to me that a traitor to our national respect has invaded our house.

Last night we saw two men debate, not under any sort of a traditional format but in an over the top, blatant perversion of the concept. Political performance art is supposed to help us determine who we should task with leading this great nation. Many times in our history, a presidential debate became more of a damn show and entertainment and less a dialog about ideas and plans but at least they included some productive discourse. However, 2020’s first presidential debate in Cleveland, Ohio last night was a total disaster and waste of time for America.

We hear people talk about the soul of this nation. What exactly is that soul? Some would say it’s a spiritual and immaterial part of our country which forms the immortal essence of who we are collectively as a nation. Others might say it’s the emotional and intellectual energy or intensity living inside all the citizens who call this place home. I believe our country has something beyond the big buildings, big bank accounts and big ideas. We have a spiritual core that keeps us all, well, American!

Last night we saw a desperate child trying to force himself to the front of the stage with nothing but boorish interruptions. He wasn’t even paying close attention, as evidenced by his inability to put forth reasonable rebuttals and lack of a clear, logical path to his next outburst. The President of the United States lacks substance and decorum, and through his shameful performance he embarrassed himself in front of our country and the entire world last night.

Donald John Trump is trailing Joe Biden by as many as ten points in the election polls of some states. Last night we witnessed this frantic man fumbling for a way to claw himself out of the deep, dark, dank, dismal hole he inhabits because of his utter incompetence and lack of understanding. I can’t help wondering what advice Rudy Giuliani and Chris Christie offered Trump that led to this public farce. I liken this bullshit “debate” to a public spectacle of feeding an entire meatloaf to a red bellied Piranha, only to have the fish eat so much and so fast that his entire bulbous form explodes right in front of our eyes.

During the early portion of the debate I started to fact check things I heard, but then realized that was a total waste of time. I didn’t need a motherfucking fact check. What I yearned for was a sock full of high school combination locks to bash the heads and knock some sense into the assholes who have let this Trump-monster out of the box. My anger is directed mostly to the complicit bastards in Congress.

Bozos on the Bus

In the more rational light of day, I humbly offer some points about what I learned last night. Donald Trump is a racist who would rather protect right wing crazies with AR-15’s than the rights of all Americans. He’s a fat, fake, mentally challenged, little prince, without any crown jewels. In fact, he’s both financially and morally bankrupt. He stood before the American public last night and lied about his tax returns. What an unpatriotic fool.

He’s not the friend of Black Americans, white Americans or any Americans. He will never hold accountable any police officer who breaks the law because those are “his boys.” How could Trump fairly judge any encounter with law enforcement when he simply believes people who agree with him are right those who disagree with him are the enemy. He sees himself as the top cop with the final word that cannot be challenged. Hey, wake the fuck up America. That is what kings think. Our President’s words and deeds permit and promote the growth of systemic racism.

Donald Trump doesn’t care about the well-being of America. He continues the repetition of a strange mantra about his “plan” to solve America’s pandemic crisis, yet he cannot describe his intention beyond use of the vague word “strongly.” Let’s face it. The Donald has no strategy to solve our terrible COVID crisis. As he said to Bob Woodward, “There’s nothing else that can be done.” Donald Trump is not equipped to make decisions because he’s either afraid of being wrong or he just doesn’t care about you.

Things will only get worse If Donald Trump is given four more years. The bile, hate and lies that ooze from his already stiff, stinking carcass has North Korea, China and Russia circling above us like vultures, waiting to swoop down and fight over the scattered remnants of our nation’s soul.

The headlines speak for themselves: “Lying, Cheating, Barking, Bullying: Donald Trump Hijacked the First Presidential Debate” (Huffington Post), or try this one on, “Donald Trump plunges debate into chaos as he repeatedly talks over Joe Biden” (The Guardian) or how about these shameful thuds, “With Cross Talk, Lies and Mockery, Trump Tramples Decorum in Debate With Biden – Interrupting Joe Biden nearly every time he spoke, President Trump made little attempt to reassure swing voters about his leadership. Mr. Biden hit back: ‘This is so unpresidential.’” (New York Times).

All those were clever but, quite frankly, CNN’s Dana Bash spoke the truth more concisely and precisely, “This was a shitshow!” Now, there are those who will attack and try to blame the debate’s moderator, Fox News’ Chris Wallace, but if you think he had a bad night imagine his late father, Mike Wallace, looking down and smoking a whole pack of Camels watching an unruly, festering, waste of fucking time.

I will be extremely disappointed if Joe Biden doesn’t end this farce with Trump right now. Why should us Americans have to sit through coverage that does nothing to help us know more about Joe Biden and his policies? We already know that Donald Trump is a sleazy, lowlife grifter who should be arrested for tax evasion, fraud and bad hair. When charged, we hope his punishment will include additional jailtime for his excessive, foul looking makeup. I know drag queens who are more attractive than Trump.

There will come a time for a full Trump postmortem, but can we all realize in this moment that this man is worse than Benjamin Harrison, Chester A. Arthur and Herbert Hoover combined? What is he one thing those three men have in common? They were all ONE TERM PRESIDENTS that America survived. We recovered our nation’s soul after those tragic presidencies, just as we will when our current clown President makes his exit from the Big Top.

TEMPERAMENTS & TRUTHS

Mr. President, that’s not a good idea

I often wonder who is present in the White House when ideas are being tossed around. Does anyone ever utter, “Mr. President, that’s not a good idea,” or are his advisors so fearful of Donald Trump’s thin skin that they never ask tough questions? Why is it good to relax rules that would bring more pollution to America? How is slowing down the US Mail a good thing? Does this executive order exactly define what you want to accomplish? It seems like no one asks these kinds of crucial questions.

In my new book How To Hire Great People, I talk about the four temperaments of people. They are, 1. Creative-Artistic, 2. Negative-Judgmental, 3. Social-Sales and 4. Crazy-Outrageous. In any business, project or community you will see each of these four temperaments reflected in the various people who raise their beautiful, and sometimes ugly, heads.

A Negative-Judgmental person is not trying to hurt the team or squash an idea. They are merely asking a crucial question at just the right time, “Did you ever think about what would happen if…?” If you review every decision by the current President, you will clearly see that no one asks a question such as, “What will be the blowback if you say the coronavirus is just going to go away, magically?” No one asked the Donald, “What if it gets worse?” No one in this administration has balls. They just stumble about, gloat, lie and worship a big, fat, orange oaf.

There are times when a leader will get bitten in the butt after an adlib or off-the-cuff remark. When Florida Governor Ron DeSantis was encouraging schools to open during a pandemic, he defended himself by quoting one school superintendent, “Just as the (Navy) SEALs surmounted obstacles to bring Osama bin Laden to justice, so too will the Martin County school system find a way to provide meaningful choice of in-person instruction or continued distance learning — all in all the time!” Okay, we know he didn’t mean that the administrators and teachers would kill the kids, and they certainly have no power to kill the virus, so why put forth such an awful comparison?

I am sure no one in the DeSantis team offered the valid opinion, “That’s not a good idea.” We all want to encourage our bosses, or at least distract them from micromanaging us, but there are times one has to say, “STOP!” These crazy, outrageous times have driven a wedge between people. Stating clear and important information in easily digestible nuggets might prevent our leaders from wandering into misguided similes, metaphors or analogies. Help them keep it simple, black and white and fact oriented.

Donald Trump is not controllable by anyone in his administration or Congress, and we have seen him flaunting an amazing amount of disrespect for courts and judges. This is not a good thing to say about a president, but I’ll leave it to the historians to tell what was left in his wake. I suspect they will say this President was not good for America.

I know that Donald John Trump has a need to blame another for anything he does incorrectly or illegally, but it’s illogical to keep blaming China. Did not one of his advisors ask, “You blame China for not containing the virus, so then why has the United States done worse than China? Why can’t we stop the spread?” In the face of such a question Trump would probably pivot quickly and talk about his “great relationship” with China’s President Xi and blab about some nebulous trade deal.

Hopefully, facts make each of us stop and think. I was struck by Trump’s claim that China is buying so many products from the US and amazed when this graphic recently flashed on CNBC. It shows that China promised to buy $110.8 billion of our manufactured goods, but so far this year has bought only $30.3 billion. Of the $33.4 billion they promised to purchase in agricultural products, only $6.5 billion have been exported from us to them. In energy, a “guarantee” of $26.1 billion has netted only $2.9 billion. CHINA IS NOT DOING WHAT THEY SAID THEY WOULD. It seems like Trump has been played again. Are some of those products going to China then on to North Korea? Who knows?

I cannot see progress of any sort since Trump was elected. Healthcare is worse, the economy is worse, the trade war made things worse, climate and environment are worse, wages are worse, relations with our allies are worse and the divide between people is worse. Now the inaction of this imbecile President with COVID is killing scores of our citizens. Trump is a total failure and fake, both as president and person. Even his wonderful “peace treaty” between the Arab Emirates and Israel didn’t include the most important player in the West Bank controversy, the Palestinians. They immediately rejected the pact and Israel’s Prime Minister Netanyahu announced that the expansion into the disputed areas would only be “temporary.”

Trump lacks the wisdom and proper temperament to be president. He ignores truth, facts and expert advice when making decisions. You often hear him say, “I’ve been told…” but he never tells us who spoke. He never offers facts behind those supposed opinions or advice. An unedited script-loop playing in his head causes him to spew insanity with no care about whom it might hurt or what damage it could cause. It’s all reckless, stupid and unreliable information sprinkled with a degree of doubt. The words “supposedly” or “somewhat” and the phrase “they say” give him a fallback to lie his way out of any senseless proclamation. We have all witnessed him saying one thing and then denying he said it a day later.

I’m thrilled that the press is finally getting tougher on Trump. During a White House briefing last Thursday, Huffington Post reporter, S.V. Date asked the President if he regretted “all the lying you’ve done to the American people.” The Donald, acting like he didn’t quite hear the question, asked, “All the what? and then, “Who is that?” If you want to see the interchange, watch here. Finally, someone asked the question I have been wanted to ask for years. My book about Trump’s impeachment posed the same question three years ago.

The video clearly shows that Trump heard the question. He simply wasn’t quick or clever enough to pull a proper lie out of his over-developed derriere. He moved on to another reporter and appeared unconcerned by the direct hit from Mr. Date. Someone with a better grasp of the situation would have at least defended himself, you know, for the sake of his base.

So, here’s my bottom line. Keeping Trump in charge of America for any further length of time is not a good idea. There! Someone had to say it.

NASTY, MEAN & FEMALE

Trump’s Freudian Flaw Exposed

The President of the United States is a male chauvinist pig. Boy, that not only feels good to say but it’s also true. Remember the Bible story about the woman who had been accused of a sin and was about to be stoned? Recall a group of men there with stones in their hands when Jesus intervened and said, “He who is without sin among you, let him be the first to throw a stone at her.”

Ancient Form of Punishment

Stoning, also called lapidation, was and is a form of capital punishment in which a group throws stones at a person until the subject dies from blunt trauma. It was used to punish not only adultery but also whatever the men in power considered to be illicit sexual intercourse. The Book of Leviticus in the Holy Bible illustrates that homosexuals and women were given much harsher punishments than men.

I found the descriptions of Donald Trump’s early life in Mary L. Trump’s tell-all-book, Too Much and Never Enough: How My Family Created the World’s Most Dangerous Man, to be quite illuminating. Donald Trump’s father, Frederick Christ Trump, yes that is his real name, was not to be questioned and especially not to be challenged by a woman. The expression Fred Senior used to describe any woman who got in his way was “nasty.”

Having limited intelligence and a sparse vocabulary, the Donald simply inherited the speaking of his father. The word “nasty” wended its way into 18th century parlance to describe an ugly woman. Not only was it a term used to disparage an unattractive woman, but it’s implication of “nasty slut” gave a little more kick to men. Before we accuse Trump of using the word to describe only women, let‘s think again.

Trump has also called many men nasty, including Marco Rubio, Ted Cruz, Lindsey Graham, Mitt Romney, Texas Governor Greg Abbott, London Mayor Sadiq Khan, evangelical leader Russell Moore, New York Times columnist Tom Friedman, CNN’s David Gregory and the late conservative columnist Charles Krauthammer, just to name a few. So, Trump’s go-to word is not just for women.

Our President repeatedly uses improper words. Yesterday, Trump had difficulty with the word “fatalities.” He mispronounced the word twice while saying, “99.95% of all “fatilities” are adults.” Think about that. 99.95%, is extremely close to 100%, and the fact that Trump’s statement wasn’t true is just as bad as his inability to utter the word correctly. I had to pour myself another cup of covfefe and watch the video.

But let’s get back to “nasty.” One of Donald Trump’s favorite words connotes a highly unpleasant, physically nauseating, olfactory sensation. In simple terms, the word can be used to describe a smelly person. It can also designate a mean, unpleasant, harmful person or thing. When an older person has an accident when walking, we say “it was a nasty fall.”  The word “nasty” can also mean a person has been behaving in an unpleasant or spiteful way. Doesn’t all of this pretty much describe Trump’s daily output?

A Woman

Donald Trump’s putdown of Democratic Vice Presidential Candidate Kamala Harris included not only the word “nasty,” but also “mean,” placing a delicious cherry on top of the insult. Trump often focuses on the treatment of Justice Brett Kavanaugh during his confirmation hearing. It seems funny that the Republicans were so nervous about their members on the Judiciary Committee acting nasty and mean that they hired a woman to question another woman who was accusing the behavior of the nominated man. So, is it true that only a woman can get another woman to tell the truth in a man’s world?

I hate to break the news, but the demon who brewed Donald Trump in the cauldron of the 1940s added a heavy dose of misogynism, countless spoons of racism and a ton of denial to protect him from all the women and Black people who were either trying to get his money or take power from that little kid in Queens, New York. Even a surface look at how Trump dealt with the Central Park Five shows his racism. The way he’s treated women over the years demonstrates that he’s one, big, fat-assed chauvinist.

If we give him any more time in the White House, Trump will be grabbing all those nasty sluts by the pussy whenever he wants because he is famous and powerful. As for all the men out there, who grew up with strong mothers like I did, you can either sit there and condone or stand up for your mom and vote him the fuck out of office.
