WHERE THE HELL WERE YOU?

Horrendous 2020 Hindsight: Painful Pandemic Truth

Like many Americans, I woke up to news coverage about last night’s CNN documentary with interviews of the pandemic doctors. The hundreds of thousands of citizens whose deaths from Covid-19 could have been avoided are owed national and political accountability, but the polarization of America that exacerbated the pandemic threatens to deprive them of their due.

Dr. Deborah Birx gave us a haunting admission that the death toll would have been substantially reduced if not for the negligent management of the pandemic by former President Donald Trump. His willingness to put economic and political goals above science and the public’s wellbeing added to the death toll.

I am sure Debra Birx is a nice person. She certainly has a wealth of knowledge on healthcare, medicine and viruses, but I’m not ready to name the wing of a hospital after her or erect a scarved statue in her honor. Pardon me, but I need to get some things off my chest here so I can move on from Monday morning quarterbacking.

First, let’s review this famous Donald Trump monologue, “I see disinfectant, where it knocks it out in a minute, one minute, and is there a way we can do something like that by injection inside, or almost a cleaning. Because you see it gets in the lungs and it does a tremendous number on the lungs, so it’d be interesting to check that. So, you’re going to have to use medical doctors, but it sounds interesting to me. So, we’ll see. But the whole concept of the light, the way it kills it in one minute, that’s pretty powerful.” The President continued, “And then I see the disinfectant where it knocks it out in a minute. One minute. And is there a way we can do something like that, by injection inside or almost a cleaning? So, it’d be interesting to check that [out]. Then he pointed to his head and delivered the disclaimer, of sorts, “I’m not a doctor. But I’m, like, a person that has a good you-know-what.”

While this “riff,” which is how Trump translator Jason Miller described it, was underway, we saw Dr. Debra Birx sitting uncomfortably a few feet off to the side of Trump, looking as if she were holding in a large, gaseous explosion and saying nothing. Not one word. She could have jumped to her feet, walked to the microphone and warned people not to drink bleach or try to put a light down their throats, but she didn’t.

There are some who attempt to justify her inaction by saying, “Hey, if she would have done that, she would have been fired and things could have gotten worse.” Well, they did get worse. Trump hired a quack named Dr. Scott Atlas who convinced our feckless leader that things with the virus weren’t all that bad and herd immunity would just take the problem away. Atlas is more a murderer than a doctor and his license should be revoked. Atlas never explained to Trump that trying herd immunity before we had a vaccine would be a death sentence to hundreds of thousands of people with underlying health conditions, and that is exactly what happened. It wasn’t until Atlas received condemnation from the medical community that he “clarified” his position on herd immunity.

Why Was This Man Talking?

Dr. Fauci, Dr. Birx and anyone with half a brain knew that Atlas was a destructive force on the Coronavirus Task Force, but no one had the guts to rebuke the President. The CNN program dramatically solidified the truth. Our country was seriously harmed by Trump’s actions and inactions, particularly his silencing of Dr. Fauci and pushing him away from the public messaging. Trump’s disjointed “riff” revealed he didn’t have a clue what he was talking about, but no one countered or silenced him.

It was never a joke, it was never just a “little flu” and it certainly would not “go away one day, like a miracle.” How could anyone continue to support this madman’s claims about anything? The “miracle” for America is that Trump finally went away.

Dr. Birx, people are weak and easily intimidated. I get that. When Trump turned against you, it wasn’t by a termination memo on a Friday afternoon and a security escort to your car in the parking lot. Be thankful that delirious Donald didn’t take to Twitter, saying you were “persona non grata,” and all the Trumpers, who have no idea what the term even means, would start the berating and death threats. If your role in life is to help people medically and do no harm, your silence on Trump’s outrageous statements demonstrate that you are not worthy of praise and perhaps your position.

This from CNN, “And while critics may fault her for not speaking out when she was in government, her comments come across as an attempt to precipitate a reckoning that can provide lessons on how the US can perform more effectively in a future pandemic. ‘In the post-mortem, we have to come out of this and learn how to do it better, the next time,’ Birx said.” Great, yeah, so that’s the big lesson? REALLY?

I’ll try to be fair right now as I slam into my keyboard the two large lessons I’ve learned. 1. Either do your job and speak up to power or get the hell out of the way and, 2. Stop this self-reputation saving tour and just go away. Harsh, yes, but I don’t even want to hear her name. When I do, I see this.

The Moment of Truth

I know now she was deeply torn and frustrated at that moment, but she could have called a press conference a few hours later to announce she was resigning because she believed the President was making things worse. She could have stated clearly that Donald Trump has no credibility giving advice on a global pandemic or any other medical matter. She could have gone out with a bang and perhaps saved some lives. Sorry, but death is not a fixable problem.

I guess it’s time to push this into the folder that also contains, “We knew the Japanese would attack, we just didn’t know where.” And this gem, “Had we only coordinated between the CIA and FBI we could have prevented 9-11.” Or this frightening truth, “We knew Lee Harvey Oswald was in Dallas, we just lost track of him.” I am not making any of that up.

We knew it was bad, Trump knew it was bad and admitted same to Bob Woodward. We heard him say it on a recoding, but too many people went along with his “Hydroxychloroquine” miracle cure bullshit when every major person involved in the science knew it was not a cure and would do little to help anyone. When I see that ten-foot flag on the pickup truck in Florida screaming FUCK BIDEN, I know that’s something Birx would never have said about Trump, but she should have. There’s one big lesson in all of this. The next time you have a global pandemic, make sure the person in charge isn’t an idiot.

ANGRY SPOILED BRAT

Trump, Worst President & Patient Ever

It makes no sense that the man who runs the most powerful nation in the world is exploiting his illness for political gain, but that is who Donald John Trump is. He’s a fool and a bully who is testing fate, or is the whole thing a scam?

The reports say that the Donald is bored watching TV and angry at the way his hospital stay is being covered. My objective observation is the reporting should have been managed from the beginning by Trump’s Chief of Staff, Mark Meadows. On second thought though, maybe not. He seems dazed and confused and maybe this is all too much for him.

Mark Meadows

Much will be made of the little joy ride Trump took around the hospital to wave at his cult members gathered outside, and I’m sure the President doesn’t care if one of his Secret Service members gets a COVID infection. After all, the virus is only a hoax. Trump’s drive-by stunt shows his addiction to adulation. I’m sure the attention of his fans made him feel better, but it’s a spit in the face to those families who were locked out of seeing their loved ones while they were being killed by this virus. This narcissistic, old chump’s lack of empathy has been noted.

The press have had to pull the facts out of the President’s doctor, Sean Conley. He’s a Navy man following the commands of his Commander in Chief to obfuscate the facts and confuse us. We learned that Trump has received, so far, the steroid Dexamethasone, the experimental, monoclonal antibody treatment Remdesivir, the anti-acid Famotidine, along with Zinc, Vitamin D, Aspirin and Melatonin. Some of these treatments are full-blast drugs which typically would be administered to a seriously ill patient in the ICU. Knowing Trump, it’s not hard to imagine that his macho syndrome probably drove him to bully his doctors into administering everything that is available, you know, “the works.” He thinks he knows everything, including proper medical procedures.

I don’t know about you, but I am sick and tired of this spoiled-brat, 14-year-old president who probably doesn’t raise the toilet seat before he pees. In a recently released interview with Bob Woodward recorded back in March, Donald Trump was asked if he sat down with Dr. Anthony Fauci to discuss the realities of the COVID-19 infections. Trump replied, “I really don’t have time to do that.” Does that sound like a man who cares about the health and safety of the American people? It’s clear the virus is a low priority for him. What a failure.

I truly believe the 45th President of the United States is infected with the coronavirus, but we don’t see videos of his wife, the First Lady, on TV talking about how she is doing. She hasn’t been visible at all, which might be more vanity than a statement. However, there is a question here. Why would Melania not be getting the same intense treatment as her husband? True, she has only a mild case, but the disparity seems somewhat sexist. Oh yeah, she’s much younger than Trump, ah, too snarky?

Fool in the car with little hands

Donald Trump thinks that his only jobs are making sure we don’t panic and insuring he is presented only in the best possible light. I laughed when people said that Donnie looked rather pale when leaving the White House headed to Walter Reed Hospital. Of course, he looked ashen; he wasn’t wearing two layers of that nasty orange makeup. For once, he didn’t look like a French hooker.

Studies from Italy and Europe show that a person over the age of 70 has only a 26% chance of death or extended ICU treatment. If the President stays in the hospital, he’s going to have 24-hour surveillance and care. If he is released back into the wild, stressful world of the White House, he will return to his role as a free-range infector, making absolutely no effort to protect others from this virus. If anyone who attended the Rose Garden event last week dies, their blood will be on Trump’s hands.

Here’s a side note. Why would we want a new Supreme Court Justice who didn’t have the care or good sense to cover herself, her husband and her children at a White House event while the coronavirus pandemic is pounding our country? She had the virus a few months ago and allegedly recovered, but what if there is a lingering infection? Shouldn’t Amy Coney Barrett be disqualified as a court appointment to prevent her from killing Clarence Thomas?

It’s a given that more people will die from COVID-19. We are at almost 210,000 deaths so far, and what has Trump done to make us better? Zip. Nada. Zilch. He cannot take care of himself, so why would we trust him to give us medical advice about this global pandemic? If he makes you as angry as he makes me, let’s VOTE HIM OUT OF OFFICE. If he makes you feel sorry for him, I must ask why. Why would you waste your emotional energy on a thug, thief, liar and clown? You wouldn’t stay with an abusive husband or wife, so why remain loyal to this sadistic, destructive, divisive piece of shit? Okay, that’s too far but, hey, he’s killing my friends. How can that be good?

WELCOME TO FAUCI FREE FRIDAYS

Dangerous Rhetoric Trumps Expertise

As I watch this passion play of a global pandemic, there are times I want to ask how our highly educated and experienced experts do not just lose it. One would hope that cooperation and compromise would drive the narrative during this horrible event, but it’s not what seems to be important to judges, governors or the President. By his actions and words, it’s perfectly clear that Donald Trump would like this whole COVID-19 thing to simply go away, but it won’t.

During the hearing in the Senate, Dr. Anthony Fauci gave those who questioned him very direct and, at times, frightening information and advice. For the most part, the elected Senators were open to his help. Aside from Rand Paul, who sought to discredit and denigrate Dr. Fauci, most Senators know that we need a vigorous plan to test as many people as possible, otherwise we will never know the extend and power of the virus. Senator Paul says he refuses to wear a mask because he had the virus and recovered. His assumption that he cannot be re-infected or spread the virus has not been proven by science. Ironically, Rand Paul is an eye doctor and should know that his avoidance of a face mask could hurt someone. Maybe he doesn’t care.

Yesterday, in a meeting with two Governors in the White House, Trump was once again pontificating and misleading people. He decided to answer some questions, which is always a risk for this President. When asked about Dr. Fauci’s testimony in the Senate, Trump bristled and commented that Fauci is trying to play “all sides” of the equation, oblivious to the fact that an equation has only two sides. No one had the nerve to ask, “WHAT SIDES?” as Trump, once again, drew a redline that separates us into “You are either with me or against me” in this fight to reopen the country. The virus knows no sides and fighting it should be the focus of us all.

When a reporter asked what Trump thought of the warnings about opening schools too early, the President said Fauci’s warnings about reopening amid coronavirus crisis are “not acceptable.” Imagine a patient meeting with their doctor who has just stated that they have cancer. Most normal people would ask, “How bad?” or, “How much time do I have?” In that circumstance Donald Trump would likely reply that the advice is unacceptable. REALLY? You know, you still have cancer, right?

During the testimony in the House of Dr. Rick Bright, director of the Biomedical Advanced Research and Development Authority, he slammed the Trump administration’s COVID-19 response and urged lawmakers to listen to the voices of scientists and predicted “unprecedented illness and fatalities.” Trump’s comeback was to say that Dr. Bright is just a disgruntled employee. Okay, another person telling the truth gets put on the “I don’t know him. I have never met him” human category. Why has Trump not met the guy in charge of a vaccine? Negligence or Arrogance?

Rational, intelligent human beings of the world know not to take Trump seriously, but he’s the leader of the free world. Why can’t Trump plainly relay the facts and fear, say something positive and then move on? Everything has to be a fight with someone, something or an institution. He cannot stay on message and he cannot stay focused on the most important time in modern American history.

Why is Donald Trump, the 45th President of the United States, trying to force premature openings in states where he wants to win in November? Recent polls and data show that only 26% to 30% of the people in this country trust his advice and opinions on the COVID crisis. In fact, a number from YouGov.com says that, “Three-quarters of Americans (75%) believe it is likely that state-level plans to reopen large sectors of their economies could result in an increase in COVID-19 cases.” Trump has no credibility with Democrats and perhaps a slight Republican advantage, but in the end people will blame the man who is in charge. The pointed political question is this, “Are you better off now than you were four years ago?” I’m willing to bet that will get a big, loud “NO!”

When this president uses blame as an involuntary reaction to any question or statement he dislikes, the rest of us waste time trying to defend the person being criticized . It happens on “both sides” of any issue and is lacking the leadership needed to resolve and move forward. With the Donald is in the White House, we cannot move on, we cannot resolve, we cannot take expert advice and face this pandemic responsibly and sensibly.

It’s amazing to me that the President cannot unite us on a prudent path to deal with this nemesis that affects every American. No, the man refuses all responsibility of facing and handling the coronavirus crisis. I am not making this up. He plainly said on TV that he takes no responsibility and we all heard him.

Trump seems to be implementing Fauci Free Fridays and Dr. Birx-free-TV lately. He want to avoid talk about the reality of the pandemic so we can forge on with his insane plan to reopen the country regardless of the amount of additional deaths. Fatso wants to open schools, both colleges and K-12, so parents can go back to work and use the state funded babysitter service known as education. Trump references Purdue University, in Tippecanoe County, Indiana, which had only 248 coronavirus cases and two deaths when this post was written. Don’t forget that Purdue students come from all over the country, and even the world, meaning a higher likelihood of more contagion on campus. Opening a college isn’t the same as opening elementary, middle and high schools.

Before we open schools, with their narrow halls and obvious social distancing challenges, we need to be thoughtful and careful. We are now seeing a delayed response to the coronavirus in children with symptoms like Kawasaki disease. Up to 100 children in the UK have been affected and studies suggest the same reaction is being seen in Europe and the United States. Three children, ages 5, 7 and 18, have died from the illness in the state of New York. So, is your rush to open the schools wise at all, Mr. President?  What are you thinking?

Here’s a message for all those Fox News TV personalities who claim that Dr. Anthony Fauci is less than honest, or worse, a traitor. Why are you against Fauci? His job to keep America vigilant, safe and healthy is far more important than what you do for your keepers, Lachlan and James Murdoch. Their agenda is making money, and you have a role in the opinions of millions of Americans. Do Fauci’s death threats bother you at all? Your “news” service constantly relays the mutterings and opinions of Donald Trump. What good are you doing by constantly and aggressively condemning experts and scientists?

He’s right when Trump says the press is the enemy of the people, but he’s aiming his barbs at the wrong outlets. Fox News, One America News Network and webcasters like Alex Jones and Info-Wars are the real enemies. They are making things worse, just like Alex Jones did during the Waco siege, by stirring up the far right. That brought ATF and FBI agents to Waco. Did Alex Jones’ words on TV and radio cause death there? It’s impossible to determine his influence, but 82 people were killed by Federal agents and US military during that siege and Alex Jones’ position was against the government. Did his rhetoric plant a seed in Timothy McVie’s mind? Google: Oklahoma City bombing.

We should all pray that there is never a Fauci-free Friday, or any day, when we cannot turn to doctors, nurses, scientists and experts. Donald Trump has become BIG BROTHER. We need experts now more than ever. Let’s not be led into danger and death by Donald Trump, who cares only about his reelection, not the world’s virus.

If you read this book, you can see why all this happened to us.

The book that tells it like it is…

Gold, God, Guns & Goofballs shows how we’ve wasted our GOLD on bad wars and corruption. While GOD is there for many people as a spiritual enrichment and the provider of glowing feelings, the truth is just praying and believing will not change our major arc. We don’t determine who gets a GUN. We aren’t sure if we have paramilitary groups ready to storm the White House or a White Castle. There is no control of weapons. The GOOFBALLS with the power constantly try to manipulate us into spending more money on bombs and tanks and wars. When all of our institutions are infected with neglect and fall in disrepair, we will only have ourselves to blame. This book is not an antidote for the left or right, it’s an accelerant to move the middle off their collective asses to go do something positive for America.

TASK FORCE FARCE

Trump Infects People & Process

Rick Wilson, who is a Republican strategist and strong critic of our President, wrote a book titled Everything Trump Touches Dies. The truth of the title has been proven by Trump’s policies, provocations, pronouncements, and putrid vindictiveness throughout this crisis. He is more worried about what a governor says about him than helping people. The Trump touch right now is killing people.

In the beginning, we saw President Donald Trump put Mike Pence in charge of a COVID-19 Task Force that permitted experts such at Dr. Anthony Fauci and Dr. Debra Birx to come to the foreground to educate the public about the global pandemic. Soon Trump came to realize that they were getting all the media coverage and it looked like he wasn’t involved. As much as this was okay for most of the country, little Donnie couldn’t bear being upstaged. Like a movie diva of the golden age, he pranced to the front of the press room platform to take over and use critical briefing time to push his political dogma. That was the day the coronavirus task force died.

Even though Trump is taking up all the oxygen in the room, if you hang in long enough you can still learn. We realize that hardly anything is made in America. Just like there is only one laboratory in the US to do certain genomic cancer tests, there is only one factory that makes the long swabs needed for coronavirus testing. The factory is in Maine. Can you believe it? A country of 328 million people is not making things we need to stay alive. We have learned that much of what the medical and healthcare systems need, comes from China, Korea, or Southeast Asia. Why?

While Donald Trump blasts out a tweet saying he has suspended all immigration, the country will shortly face a food shortage. One of the little secrets uncovered during this crisis is that many of our crops are harvested by undocumented workers, or as Trump calls them, “illegals.” They are too afraid to come to work because they have no healthcare insurance. Produce is being ploughed under dirt because there is no way to get the vegetables harvested and sent off to market. While we watched footage of dairies dumping milk down the drain, we also learned of hundreds of food processing workers were testing positive for the COVID-19 virus. Some meat processing plants have stopped production. THERE WILL BE A FOOD SHORTAGE NEXT.

Whatever faith we had in the Task Force and the federal government, has been demolished by the outrageous comments and actions our inept President. We now can clearly see the COVID-19 task force has been coopted by the insanity of the ship captain aiming his craft straight at an iceberg. The members of the task force, no matter what their rank, are simply members of the band, urged by the President to keep playing while the ship is sinking.

Tony Fauci is almost always straightforward and has received death threats because of his candor. Radical right-wing Fox News devotees have called for Fauci to be fired. Trumpets of ignorance! Dr. Birx, a skilled politician and ambassador, uses statistics to cloud an issue or back up a Trump pronouncement. Both Birx and Fauci cannot push back hard enough to clear the noxious gas that Trump blows out his big, fat ass. Why can’t they plainly say that protests to reopen the country are bad for public health?

Governmentpacket

Last Thursday, the Task Force published a plan called OPENING UP AMERICA AGAIN, which outlined what the group believed to be necessary to safely reopen certain parts of the country. As I pointed out previously, the vague language and lack of specifics basically said the states could do whatever they wanted, and they did. Tennessee, South Carolina, and Georgia are set to throw caution to the wind and let the germs fly. None of those states met the guideline’s Phase One requirements.

Georgia’s Governor Brian Kemp will open fitness centers (gyms), bowling alleys, body art studios, barbers, hair and nail salons and massage therapy businesses this Friday. On Monday, April 27, 2020, Georgia theaters and dine-in restaurants will be permitted to resume activity. Kemp’s decree supersedes any local law or order. Most of the mayors of major cities in Georgia disagree with Kemp but can do nothing.

I am not an infectious disease expert, but I see no way to execute social distancing when inking tattoos, cutting hair, painting nails, or rubbing another to give a massage. Governor Kemp doesn’t understand human contact and how it spreads the deadly virus. He said that workers and customers would be required to follow social distancing. Really? Of course, we learned how unaware he is when he admitted last week that he didn’t know asymptomatic people could spread the virus. I’ll stop short of saying he’s dumb, but he does have a degree in agriculture and should have studied the asymptomatic spread of diseases at the University of Georgia. It appears as if the governor of Georgia used a dart board to determine what kinds of businesses would open.

Kemp admitted his states lags in testing and has not met the 14-day decrease in cases recommended in the Task Force guidelines, but he needed to move the economy sooner. Was he bragging or complaining?

According to an April 20, 2020 interview on CBS, Dr. Anthony Fauci warned again that resuming business too soon risked a fresh spike in infections. And there you have it, folks. Trump put together a Task Force to fight this “invisible enemy” and then he cut their balls off, neutering their effectiveness. It’s a damn farce force and every expert, doctor, healthcare worker and thinking American knows it is a giant failure. Why did the White House publish guidelines that no one is following? Why are the medical experts not stepping up to the microphone and telling the truth right now? TRUMP IS WRONG ABOUT THIS CRISIS.

I hate to say this, but I must. If the number of cases doesn’t go up in those states like Georgia with these new, loose policies, I am going to be really pissed at the Task Force for not understanding the coronavirus. If the cases and death increase in Georgia, where most of my family lives, I am going to be more than angry. The governors who have been hypnotized by Trump’s rhetoric and buffoonery should be removed from office immediately. If more people die because they opened their states too early, they should be criminally charged with endangerment of their citizens and the COVID-19 Task Force should be disbanded for not being more forceful. We need to give an independent panel of doctors and experts total control of the effort against the virus. In effect, the Pentagon of Healthcare. The Federal courts should take Trump out of the picture. He’s hurting us with his words and actions. He needs to be kept away from the decision-making process as far as possible. Short of that, we’re doomed.

If you read this book, you can see why all this happened to us.

HYPE, LIES & LIVES

Trump Truncates His Own Orders

It’s mind boggling. The President of the United States is now promoting protests by urging people to break the very recommendations his own administration has released. His latest tweets about “liberating” several of our states go against the grain of everything the White House said they are promoting to keep Americans safe. Let’s review.

According to the Washington Post, “The Trump administration received its first formal notification of the outbreak of the coronavirus in China on Jan. 3. And yet, it took 70 days from that initial notification for President Trump to treat the coronavirus pandemic seriously. The president consistently played down the threat and became a fountain of misinformation and confusion. While visiting the CDC in Atlanta on March 6, Trump incorrectly stated: ‘Anybody that needs a test, gets a test.’ In fact, the nation is desperate for more testing, leading some states to conserve testing for only health-care workers.”

Austin Texas Protests

Have the members of the COVID-19 Task Force forgotten the massive failure of their first attempts at testing? As CNN posted, “Contamination in manufacturing the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention test for the coronavirus caused weeks of delays that slowed the US response to the pandemic. This problem stemmed in part from the CDC not adhering to its own protocols, according to a Trump Administration US Food and Drug Administration spokesperson.” Why hasn’t anyone in the White House addressed this?

TESTING is the central problem. The administration pledged to get 27 million tests into the country by mid-March, but as of April 18 there were only 3.5 million tests completed. We get one great lie after another in the daily Task Force briefings, which have devolved into lengthy blathers of cloudy, complicated statistics, models, and predictions spattered amongst a heavy dose of pure Trumpian political bullshit. I am now seeing a problem with Dr. Deborah Brix, who is producing “data” that support the things Trump want us to believe. The Friday briefing was a giant smoke cloud to keep us from seeing the real problem, which is TESTING.

Trump’s answers to questions posed by our true journalists attempt to divert our attention from his malfeasance and ignorance. Two or three planted, far right media reporters then ask preplanned questions to cover Trump’s fumbled adlibs and misinformation. Why are they even allowed to be there? Oh yeah, because of the First Amendment. Trump sputters judgement of the questions, the reporters, and their outlets, rather than seriously using his time before the American people to help. What a thoughtless dolt!

A just released NBC/Wall Street Journal poll shows 65% of Americans say Trump did not take the coronavirus seriously, and 52% say they disapprove of the way this president is handling the crisis in which we live. Fortunately, America is hearing through the noise. Only 36% of our citizens believe the things Trump says about the COVID crisis.

Trump is taking major heat about quickly opening the country from both his sycophants and political operatives. Even while the experts, Dr. Anthony Fauci and Dr. Birx, placate Trump with their public statements, you can hear in their words and see in their body language that they are most certainly nervous about a virus rebound caused by reopening the country too early. Fauci talks about a return of the virus and infections in the fall. Oh boy, that would be bad for Trump and the election. Hey kids, KEEP YOUR EYES OPEN. TRUMP WILL PROBABLY TRY TO CANCEL THE ELECTION.

By promoting protests with his incendiary language, Trump is urging his lower-IQ base to march arm-in-arm, which will help the virus spread faster and more thoroughly. What intelligent human could possibly agree with this? It’s a move by a corrupt politician who is more interested in being reelected than doing what is best for the people. It reminds me of a scene in the 1975 blockbuster movie, JAWS, in which the Amity Island character, Mayor Larry Vaughn, decides to keep the beaches open for the July 4th weekend, leading to the death of five constituents. He’s still the mayor of the town in JAWS 2, so I guess those people didn’t get it. I can’t help wondering why they didn’t learn the lesson.

Half of our country doesn’t trust Trump. The other half cannot see the connection between DEATH and reopening beaches. Really? UK’s Prime Minister Boris Johnson got the message quickly after contracting the virus. He probably would have taken the matter much more seriously if the disease had hit him sooner. The COVID-19 death of Trump’s real estate buddy, Stanley Chera, has made Trump more frantic and angry about this virus he cannot control than empathy for the American healthcare and other workers doing all they can to  keep the rest of us alive. Is this president mentally ill? Sorry folks, but I must pose that question.

Our president says whatever he wants and many in Congress get onboard. Then, the next day, Trump reverses course and tramples his own words with tweets and rhetoric that are more destructive than helpful. Captain Bligh, in the Mutiny on the Bounty, suffered from a narcissistic personality disorder. Is Trump like him? We will probably never know for sure, but it’s abundantly clear that Fat Ass Golf Boy is totally unqualified and unfit to manage this crisis. He wants only to strike at enemies, both real and imagined, rather than calm and help the populous. What a fucking, inept human.

I wish I could ask Donald Trump this, “Do you know that the people around you are NOT TELLING THE TRUTH because they are afraid of you?” Next, I would ask him why he wears makeup. Yes, I know that seems like a silly question, but it’s a severe quirk we all can see. Like makeup, he’s involved in coverup every day. He’s insecure about the way he looks. I am not sure why he picked the color orange, but I guess that is better than black, which would have clashed with his fake, blonde-dyed hair.

Trump does many wrong things. His hype confuses people. A president recommending unproven medicines to the world is unethical. The lies he presents will hurt and kill people. I rarely agree with Piers Morgan, but his observation that this virus takes a different skill set than just running for office is right on the money. TV-pitchman Trump is incapable of managing a way out of this crisis. He’s a feeble man trying to exploit the COVID-19 crisis to get reelected. TOTAL LOSER!
