SEX, LIES & AUDIO TAPES

The End of Times Coming for Trump

When will responsible people in power wake up and start to realize that America is more important than party politics and Trump’s ego? Within the last 24-hours we have learned that Trump’s ex-lawyer, Michael Cohen, was instructed to make hush payments to women who allege affairs with Donald Trump before he ran for president.

One of these payments was corroborated by AMI, the owner of the National Inquirer, for the sole purpose of helping Donald Trump with the 2016 presidential election. And now we have a Russian national, Maria Butina, pleading guilty to charges of espionage with attempts to infiltrate conservative leaders in Congress and the National Rifle Association. The NRA bought more than $10 million in political advertisements for Trump. The missing piece of information is whether Russian banks gave money to the NRA before the election. But STOP and listen America. Butina believed she could infiltrate our political process by getting cozy with the NRA. She should be called to testify before Congress.

And our Great Orange Leader cannot keep his trap shut. Exhibit #1: a string of tweets from 12-12-2018 by Donald J. Trump which included this lie, “I never directed Michael Cohen to break the law.” With nine words, President Donald Trump has sullied the office of the president and embarrassed the United States on the world stage.

First, Michael Cohen was an employee of the Trump Organization and his actions were in concert with the CEO, CFO and President of that company. Someone in the organization approved the payments. Michael Cohen recorded his discussion about the payment with Donald Trump. That recording has been aired by the media. Trump is heard suggesting that Cohen pay cash, obviously thinking CASH would be less traceable. Isn’t that the way organized crime handles deals?

Trump claimed that he was just acting on the “advice of his lawyer” and makes some claim of Cohen’s liability to him. What? Cohen plead guilty and got three years in jail. He is paying for his mistake. Will Trump ever?

The president saying that, “I did nothing wrong with respect to campaign finance laws…” sounds quite a bit like, “I am not a crook,” the fateful words of another presidential law breaker. This sweet denial of guilt on the part of our President of the United States makes one want to open a deep discussion about how to indict a sitting president. One thing is perfect clear, the man has lost it.

We learned that Trump was in the room when the deal with David Pecker of AMI was concocted, and the publisher believes he was doing this “dirty deed” to help TRUMP win the election. Today (12-14-2018), Michael Cohen took to ABC TV to sing. When does this end? How will this end? Winter is coming.

Thankfully, there’s a surfacing reality that more and more people are admitting, at least to themselves, that Donald Trump is a liar. What took them so long?

Media pundits reference Trump’s large support by Republicans and his base, but even they are starting to say, “Yeah, he lies, but he’s doing a good job.” Do we really want someone leading America who lies? Is a liar better than someone who tells the truth? Maybe one day we will all wake up and realize this all was just a bad nightmare and get back to a normal America. I can’t wait.

ORRIN HATCH IS A MORON

Republicans Sell Their Souls for Trump

I never thought I would say I would be happy that Mitt Romney was the next Senator from Utah, but I am. Another way to say it, when Orrin Hatch retires at the end of the year, the United States Senate will be a better body.

When Senator Hatch was asked about the obvious connection between Michael Cohen’s crimes and testimony and Donald Trump, Mr. Hatch said he didn’t care. He just brushed aside the reporter saying, “Trump is doing a good job as president.” Really? Orrin’s reaction was like the Catholic parishioner looking the other way on sexual abuse and saying we should think about all the good things Father “So and So” has done. Where’s the law and order, Mr. Hatch?

We have been hearing Donald Trump’s chant of “No Collusion” and the misrepresentative of the Special Counsel’s investigation as a “Witch Hunt” for more than a year, but the President is running out of time to prove his innocence. Let’s make it clear, the reason the investigation was started was because of the facts that many Trump associates and campaign people met with Russians and LIED ABOUT IT. And the reason this was important from the beginning was because the US intelligence community all agreed that Russian agents attempted to disrupt the electoral process in the 2016 Presidential election. These are facts and dangerous activities.

The dirty deeds of Trump allegedly having affairs and paying the women for their silence to help his chances of being elected, were minor events until Trump LIED ABOUT IT. Michael Cohen and now, the publisher of the National Inquirer have accused Trump of paying women to help him get elected. It’s an in-kind political contribution, which is against the law.

John Edwards used “child support” as an accuse for his dirty deeds. We wonder what senseless scheme or legal loophole Trump’s team will claim. It’s not the crime, it’s the cover-up that places Trump in the same league as Richard Nixon.

The fact that Trump refused to release his tax returns wasn’t breaking a law, but the reason he didn’t release them was a LIE. What might be hidden in those returns would shed light on whether Trump owes money to Russian or Saudi Arabian banks. And what moneys will Donald Trump make if he does favors for certain countries? The emolument case in Maryland and D.C. will prove how much money Trump and his family are making since he has become president. Those will be more FACTS, not lies.

The reason the Republicans are not speaking out against the way Trump has handled all this is because of people like Orrin Hatch. What moral authority lets him look the other way when the leader of the free world lies to his countrymen and women? Maybe Mitt can stand up to those in his party and start to bring some moderate, moral judgements to the floor of the Senate. Without Corker and Flake, the body is on shaky ground. The earthquake Trump has brought to America has done its damage and it’s time for someone to stand up and say, let’s move forward with REGULAR ORDER. The cracks in Democracy can be fixed, but we should NOT wait too long.

It’s not a party thing, it’s an American thing. Donald J. Trump is a LIAR, and everyone knows it. He’s a grand master flip-flopper and has little comprehension of how our government works and why international leadership is important. Trump is more interested in performing in his dystopian reality TV show, swirling fear and promoting conspiracies that have no basis in fact. He’s a pathological liar.

We must impeach him. Why waste the time trying to change the law about indicting a sitting president? Congress has a method to remove the cancer from the Presidency, it’s impeachment. We cannot wait for the toadies and traitors in Congress to get the job done. The American people must SPEAK UP and defeat the liars.

Ruthless & Truthless Liar

A Case for Indicting a Sitting President

There is a very well-written 29-page memo the Department of Justice posted on October 2000 that clearly says that a sitting president cannot be indicted. If you want to read the whole thing, it’s right here. But let’s cut to the chase, it says that, “The indictment or criminal prosecution of a sitting President would unconstitutionally undermine the capacity of the executive branch to perform its constitutionally assigned functions.”

Some might argue that it’s time to examine that under unusual circumstances, a sitting president should be able to be indicted. Within our legal system the only true remedy of dealing with an unsavory leader is impeachment. Anyone watching this slow-moving disruption of the norms of America with Donald Trump will agree that this president has created an “usual circumstance.”

The opinion memo from DOJ in 2000 has a funny reference to the concept of charging a sitting president but postponing a trial until he’s out of office with, “…there would be a Russian roulette aspect to…[it].” RUSSIA! RUSSIA! RUSSIA!

Another not so funny admission was that Justice thinks having 12 unelected jurors decide the fate of the President would be a dangerous precedent and alluded to the fact that such weighty matters would be outside the regular joe’s experience. In short, they are saying ordinary citizens are not smart enough to judge such complicated matters. Really? That’s how they kept the vote and being on juries from women for almost 150 years. Or were they being a bit truthful about the flaw in the system of a jury of your peers?

We certainly believe that no man or woman is above the law. Our founding fathers were smart men who understood the need to make sure the top executive of the nation was free from frivolous law suits or local laws that could thwart his ability to do the nations’ business. They also had to deal with the conflict between the person who runs the justice department (the President) having the power of executive privilege. You cannot be the defendant and judge in the same case.

The founding fathers were a group of rich landowners who believed, their class, would never let someone of such low values and character to ever land the job of President. They were idealistic and a bit naïve, but then, how could they have ever predicted how America would change or even, a Donald Trump.

With filings landing in the Special Counsel’s investigation into Russian intervention into our 2016 election and the proposed “political synergy” between the Trump campaign and Russian operatives, we are seeing more hints of obstructing the investigation. If these accusations are true, it seems the President of the United States was, at least, more involved than he has admitted. If you care about America and our Democratic process, then you should take notice that these accusations are coming from the Justice Department, not some left-wing conspirators.

The founders of this great land wanted the Congress to be the check and balance in all presidential matters and clearly stated that impeachment for “high crimes and misdemeanors” was the way to dispense with a bad guy in the White House. And this notion has been revealed in our history.

Presidents Andrew Johnson, Richard Nixon and Bill Clinton were all impeached by the US House of Representatives. Although Johnson missed being tossed out of office by only one vote. Bill Clinton’s impeachment verdict fell short by 22 votes. Nixon never made it to impeachment. His party convinced him to resign and walk away from all his illegal activities. Later, President Ford pardoned Nixon. Completing the invisible circle that people in high offices rarely, even if convicted, serve time.

We don’t want to ever think that the party in power could execute a coup to take the voter’s choice out of office. At the same time, the credibility of the entire justice system of America is diminished if the chief executive breaks the law and is not held accountable for his or her actions. That is why it’s called a Constitutional Crisis.

If the President breaks the law while in office, he can only be impeached, he cannot be indicted, arrested or stand trial. We get it. If Donald Trump knows that he will be indicted once he leaves office, he will simply do a deal with Pence to get a pardon. We have already seen this one played out. If a Democrat is elected President, then Trump, if found guilty could do some time. Elections do matter.

Not all is lost, in the memo released in 2000 it does confirm that the Chief Executive does have to cooperate with any investigation and must provide documents, so long as they don’t interfere with his busy schedule. He doesn’t have to go to any courtroom, but he must comply with any request for documents or information, so long as it doesn’t involve national security. That excuse has been used over years and it has not generally impressed the courts or judges. If you want to get into the weeds, look up US vs. Nixon, or Nixon vs. Fitzgerald, or Clinton vs. Jones.

In conclusion, there is no legal way a president can be indicted while in office. The Vice President and everyone else in government does not have that immunity. So, to all the Democrats and Never-Trump Republicans, the only way the presidency (the institution) can be protected is by Congress acting. YOU HAVE TO IMPEACH TRUMP before you can make him stand trial. And if Robert Mueller shows you the President did not protect America and violated his oath, you must IMPEACH.

LEGAL SMOKING GUN

Trump’s Attorney Double Flips

The reason for Donald Trump’s playing overly nice with Russia was just another deal. He so desired a Trump Tower in Moscow that he overtly showed his hand during his campaign. Once he took a Pro-Putin position, the Donald never changed his actions and words, even after he was nominated. Trump seemed to many conservative scholars and foreign relations experts as less than Republican. Some also think that Trump is doing long-term damage with his bias. When Trump compliments Vladimir Putin and Russia, it’s not some diplomatic ploy, it’s just a longing to make money in Moscow.

Today (11-29-2018) in New York Federal court, Michael Cohen admitted that he lied to Congress about the timeline on pitching Trump’s projects in Russia. Now, Trump’s former attorney will co-operate with the Special Counsel Robert Mueller. Cohen will be able to fill in the facts and expose the lies that Trump has been telling before and after he became President.

None of this will be surprising to anyone who has been reading this blog over the last two years. The 45th President is a man who lies constantly and will do anything behind closed doors to enrich himself or gratify his bodily desires. Besides being unfit president, Trump is an amoral human being. Once again, the devil has tempted and is in control of the deeply evangelicals. When do their eyes open?

Trump claimed that he’s not guilty of anything because the Trump Tower was NOT built in Moscow. He also admitted that he did have a deal in the pipeline for Moscow, even after he said he had NO business in Russia. Trump’s denial seemed rather defensive and contrived. He even said, “I wasn’t trying to hide anything.” That sounded a bit like, “I am not a crook.”

All the President’s men and women will be paraded out to condemn Michael Cohen as a traitor to the cause and a liar. Once again, we will hear denials. Did you notice how often Trump uses the phrase, “He denied it.” It’s getting to the point where when we hear those words, we automatically think the person Trump is defending, did the deed.

He has stated belief in the denials of Roger Ailes, Harvey Weinstein, Rob Porter, Roy Moore, Vladimir Putin, and the Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia. He only believes what he has already concluded, rather than even consider any other options. He cannot muster the courage to take the findings of scientists about Climate Change seriously. On the issue of how Climate Change could affect our well-being, he said, “I don’t belief it.”

Michael Cohen might be playing for a better life outside of prison, but clearly, if he can document much of what he is revealing to the court and Special Counsel, this can only spell the death of this presidency. Donald Trump may have concluded his written answers to the questions from Russian interference investigation, but now Trump must be called to testify. Anything less than a recorded deposition of the President is shoddy criminal prosecution. The Michael Cohen pleading today is the beginning of a year of conflicts, hearings and court battles. WHY?

We have never impeached a President. Nixon was about to be impeached when Barry Goldwater urged him to resign to save the institution of the presidency. The power of Nixon’s own party was against him. When will the Republicans on the hill, who have that same power, finally wake up and realize that it’s time to think about their own seats? There will be at least 33 Senators up for reelection in 2020.

The House of Representatives has already flipped to Democrat. The Senate will be next. Michael Cohen has flipped and flipped again. How long until others in Trump’s inner circle come to their senses and flip for America.

TEAR GAS AND TARIFFS

Trump’s Punchbowl Dirty Deeds

The very vulgar saying, “a turd in the punchbowl” applies to Donald Trump in most of what he says and how he acts. It means something or someone that spoils, ruins, or needlessly complicates a situation or circumstance. One could also say, that a person doing such a horrible thing was being a disagreeable nuisance or source of irritation. The President sure does what he wants without the understanding or care of how it might hurt people. He makes up his own analysis and answers without hearing from experts or opposite points of view.

When Donald Trump wanted to fulfill one of his campaign promises to get back at China and Europe, he ordered tariffs on steel and aluminum. When Trump created a fear of South Americans coming to the US-Mexico border, he got his wish. Young men and families attempted to cross the border into San Diego. And in true form, Trump border army launched tear gas and mustard bullets into the crowds without any regard for the women and children. One can argue the old “human shield” argument, but when Trump lied about three border agents being injured, he proved once again that he will lie about anything.

When asked about the latest mandated government report on the affects and possible results of climate change, he simply said, “I don’t believe it.” At this point, we don’t really know what he believes in. He says he believes in America and America First, but when his actions directly harm the economy, the workers and the international reputation of the United States, his actions seem like a big joke, rather than serious governance.

He surrounds himself with “Yes” men and women who sometimes, against their own judgement, will agree with him and push out the lies that support the most outrageous statements. Some in government, knowing they will be held to a certain standard by oversight and ethics lawyers, will tell the truth. And then the truth is buried.

When the smoke clears on this administration, we will fully comprehend the damage that this fool has brought to our country. The shame of those who disagree but do not speak will not be forgotten. With their $800 suits and TV makeup, Senators and Representatives have done nothing to stop this rogue president and his disregard for the rule of law. Donald Trump is just another self-serving political whore without any moral conviction or patriotic spine. He only works toward his own agenda without the long-term implications being considered. He also is lying about how he is losing money by being president. If that is true, why wouldn’t he fire his sons running the company?

Sure, Trump can get press showing soldiers lobbing tears gas into Hispanics at the border, but his plan just might backfire. If Mexico holds the immigrants and works toward giving them jobs and housing near the border, Mexico could have a new low wage work force that will eventually hurt the US job market? Time will tell.

But the man who says he has a plan to make everything better and create millions of jobs is now faced with the inevitable reality, that US corporations are capitalistic organizations that make decisions based on data, not the whim of a man with a big tie. We saw what General Motors did this week, and we know that even though they won’t admit it openly, the tariffs that Trump imposed will cost that company a billion dollars.

A recent article showed tons of soy beans rotting in storage because of Trump’s actions with the Asian markets. When does someone suggest more talking with trading partners and less outright antagonistic bullshit and tweet storms.

The fact that Donald Trump can only disagree makes him a president who cannot work toward someone else’s good idea.

He has created a vacuum and slipped something into the punchbowl that no one wants. Our Great Orange Leader is his own worst enemy. The latest poll shows that 60% disapprove of him and only 38% think he’s a great leader. He says that there may be some short-term pain, but why would any worker have to fear that they might lose their job? The stock market is doing so well, why wouldn’t those companies take care of their workers? Oh yeah, Trump doesn’t care about the workers. He only says he does.

WHERE DID EMPATHY GO?

Trump’s Weakest Moment

When we need someone to lead us, he fails. When we need the President to feel the pain of the people, he stumbles. When he presents America to the world, he embarrasses. Donald J. Trump has no empathy for Americans. He has no empathy for anyone else in the world. It’s not America first. It’s Trump First.

With all the leaders of the world commemorating the end of World War I in Europe, Trump said the weather was too bad for him to travel to a cemetery where American soldiers are buried. All the other leaders went, but Trump sent retired General John Kelly in his stead. Once again, Trump was missing in action on the empathy front. One wonders if his bone spurs were acting up that day.

It takes more than my two hands to count the number of events that have taken place in America and the world these past 22 months where the President of the United States could have been a comforting presence, but with Trump all we have is a fatalist. What a terrible thing to say, even if it’s true.

With more than 30 people dead in California due to fires, our president decided to tweet this, “There is no reason for these massive, deadly and costly forest fires in California except that forest management is so poor. Billions of dollars are given each year, with so many lives lost, all because of gross mismanagement of the forests. Remedy now, or no more Fed payments!”

Really, this guy wants to blame “forest management” on the fires? Donald Trump has no knowledge about wildfires. They start, spread and devastate large areas because the land is too dry and the winds fan the flames. Wind and dry land are essential topics of the Paris Accord, but our Great Orange Leader will never make that connection. He would prefer to blame rather than help. Trump has no empathy.

Our president talks up first responders and police on the campaign trial, but he fails to understand their methods and challenges. This was the response from California Professional Firefighters President Brian K. Rice, “The president’s message attacking California and threatening to withhold aid to the victims of the cataclysmic fires is Ill-informed, ill-timed and demeaning to those who are suffering as well as the men and women on the front lines.” Or to put in another way, IT’S CLIMATE CHANGE, idiot!

Trump thinks he still on a reality TV show where the host is supposed to get laughs and applause. It might be a game to Trump, but when people die it’s no longer funny. If Trump doesn’t declare the fires in California a national disaster, he is negligent of duty and should be impeached. You cannot withhold funds for recovery because you don’t like how the people voted.

I am getting weary of those supporters who cannot see Trump’s lack of empathy and poor leadership. They tell me my rhetoric is not helpful and that we will never to be able to repair the divide by attacking the President. They keep saying, “Hey, look at the economy.” And I say what I have said from the day he was elected, “He’s bad for America. He embarrasses America.” They just don’t get it, but time and history will show that his destructive, unhelpful and conspiratorial comments have made America less safe and less “great.” America deserves a better leader.

CHARLOTTESVILLE TO PITTSBURGH

Trump Never Gets It Quite Right

When something bad happens, there are people we can count on to give us sympathy, administer some empathy and help us through a tragedy. Then there are people who we can never count on when times get rough and friends just can’t be found. I think most of us would rather be alone instead of hearing the blaming and gaming of a soulless politician.

As the climax to a dark and terrible week of targeted pipe bombs across the nation and innocent people being gunned down in Pittsburgh by a murderous ingrate, we have been challenged once again. Is hate winning?

When Donald Trump read his prepared response, he said that anti-Semitism and violence has no place in America. However, he has never said that Neo-Nazis, White Nationalists and the failing KKK have no place in the United States. He never confronts them with his words. His lack of indictment of hate groups is reprehensible. It feels like he is colluding with them. He refuses to define the cause of the hate or ever think about his role in this movement.

This is what we get from this disgusting President, “The Fake News is doing everything in their power to blame Republicans, Conservatives and me for the division and hatred that has been going on for so long in our Country. Actually, it is their Fake & Dishonest reporting which is causing problems far greater than they understand!”

Blaming the media for what is happening in America is worse than deflection, it’s unamerican. The media will always ask important questions. If our leaders’ answers make no sense, the press should and will simply keep asking. To be a true statesman, a leader must be transparent and tell the truth. Trump fails this test time and time again.

If the Donald was smart, he would realize that his “blame deflection” is teaching Americans to seek a boogieman rather than the truth. When Trump doesn’t have a fact to back up his outrageous points, he invents one. When our citizens are hurt in some way, Trump’s finger pointing prevents the proper processing of sad and demoralizing information. Why would the President of the United States talk about the death penalty before anyone was charged in the shooting of eleven people in Pittsburgh? Didn’t he preach recently about Brett Kavanaugh being innocent before being proclaimed guilty? At best, Trump is the most inconsistent President, ever!

Trump’s words after mass shootings and hate crimes proves he lacks the ability to communicate a message of reason and hope. He just wants to throw the person in the electric chair and get back to those rallies with his adoring fans. He lacks compassion for those suffering and he doesn’t get that his words have given these actors their motivation.

It is true that a crazy hater did fire bullets into a group of Republicans practicing baseball, but that doesn’t answer this question. What do we do about it? When questioned about gun control, Trump quickly promotes the tired NRA messaging. There should have been a guard to defend the Temple in Pittsburgh. More guns. Good guys with guns. Semi-automatic guns, like the AR-15 used in this most recent massacre, will always do more damage and cause more death than a hand-gun. Can we at least start there?

It’s not a coincidence that the hate-filled social media posts of the alleged shooter in Pittsburgh used the word “invaders” instead of “illegals” to describe the people in the caravan walking through Mexico. The alleged murderer may have criticized Trump for being a “globalist,” but the fact Trump vigorously declared himself a “nationalist” the other day sent a message to White Nationalists that Trump is their guy. When does Donald Trump become “our guy.” You know, the president for all Americans.

And finally, on the way back from a rally on the same day eleven Jewish souls were lost, Trump’s priority was the criticizing of a baseball manager. Look at this tweet, “Watching the Dodgers/Red Sox final innings. It is amazing how a manager takes out a pitcher who is loose & dominating through almost 7 innings, Rich Hill of Dodgers, and brings in nervous reliever(s) who get shellacked. 4 run lead gone. Managers do it all the time, big mistake!”

REALLY? When a whole city was mourning, this was Trump’s focus? He just had to blame someone for something. I am sure Dave Roberts, the L.A. Dodger’s manager, would never tell Trump how to do his job. We know that Trump hates anyone telling him what he needs to do. As anyone can clearly see, there is no empathy in the Trump White House.

DENIERS AND DINGBATS

Trump Ignores Domestic Danger

What kind of President do we have? What kind of person blames the press for what has happened in the last 72 hours? The mailing of explosive devices to Democrats and critics of Donald Trump puts him is a precarious position. His mild condemnation of these findings was nullified by a reintroduction of his blast at the press. If you follow his tweets, you can easily see his redirection rather than leadership.

Last night’s tweet gave us, “Funny how lowly rated CNN, and others, can criticize me at will, even blaming me for the current spate of Bombs and ridiculously comparing this to September 11th and the Oklahoma City bombing, yet when I criticize them they go wild and scream, ‘it’s just not Presidential!’”

This is the second attack on America that Donald J. Trump is choosing to ignore or attempt to use for his own gain. The “leader” of the free world still doesn’t believe Russia tried to wreak havoc on our 2016 elections, and now he is swatting away the criticism of his harsh rhetoric with more divisive bombast. Why doesn’t he just admit that the list of those receiving the devices contains the names of many people on his shit list?

Trump sends out his dingbats, like Sarah Sanders, to agree with this assessment that the free press is somehow to blame for the deeds of a crazy person. If he and his deniers would just SHUT UP and wait for the facts, they would better serve the American people.

And then this morning (10-26-2018), the President of the United States responded to two additional bombs being sent to Former CIA Director James Clapper and NJ Senator Cory Booker with this tweet, “Republicans are doing so well in early voting, and at the polls, and now this “Bomb” stuff happens and the momentum greatly slows – news not talking politics. Very unfortunate, what is going on. Republicans, go out and vote!”

By putting the word “Bomb” in quotes, it’s clear that Donald Trump doesn’t take these terrorist acts seriously. I thought he was the President. Isn’t that what a president is supposed to do?

The terrorist mailed several bombs to people using the mail address of CNN. This shows the playbook of the nutcase is intended to disrupt the news network that Trump fears and hates the most. It’s almost like Trump is blaming CNN because their mailing address was used.

In the end, we will not gain any insight from the White House. We cannot depend on Donald Trump to tell us the truth, even when citizen lives are at risk. There is a voice in my head that whispers, “He likes what is happening.” Why would I think that? Maybe because President Trump has done nothing to make me think otherwise.

I am ashamed that Donald Trump is president.  He is just a politician who cannot see anything that happens outside of the context of elections and his own reputation. It’s all so sad for America.

DEMONONIZATION MATTERS

Trump’s Vitriol Being Acted Out

We have been writing this blog since Donald J. Trump became president, and in many of these missives we have warned that when an extreme ideolog stirs up his base, bad things happen. Trump rallies show us just how violent people can get when they are urged to hate journalists or anyone with a different opinion. With Trump holding the highest office in the land, we seem to have a domestic problem. It’s almost as if Russia has their hand in this great divide of America. It’s exactly what they would execute if they had the power. Maybe they have the power.

President Trump has multiple personalities and all of them lie. When confronted, he tries to be “presidential,” but he continually tweets messages of negativity and hate. The Donald has his enemies list, and it’s become apparent today that the crazies are attempting to gain his love by doing bad things to those on that list. When someone sends bombs to former presidents, actors and news networks, we are at a serious crossroad. Something must be done.

Trump’s harsh rhetoric, stupid conspiracy theories and hate speeches have pushed the fringe element to the edge. It’s time for Congress to comprehend that Donald Trump is bad for America. Trump has never even started to bring America together. Instead, he has divided us and turned basic traditions, customs and laws upside down. His thoughts and actions are not good for our country. He mocks decent conduct and has abandoned the respect and responsibility of the office. He has not fulfilled his pledge to protect all Americans.

We will learn more about the pipe bombs being sent to former presidents, movie stars and a news network, but Trump has can no longer brag about the lack of terrorism in America since he was elected. That was just another lie. STOP AND THINK ABOUT IT; the targets of these acts are Trump’s targets. The enemies of this terrorist appears to be the same people Trump doesn’t like.

I would urge everyone to google this reference in Wikipedia. I cannot believe that I would even think about what Hitler did to gain power when we are being attacked on our soil. I do not trust Trump and I am saddened to think he would ever promote this kind of activity.

We need to make sure that Trump is not complicit. We need to find out if these evil people are being motivated by Trump and, if so, they need to be condemned by the President. Trump has got to stop the vile demonization of Democrats and unnecessary bullying of our free press. If he cannot stop weaponizing his position, he should be impeached. He is inciting violence. And now we have proof.

REPUBLICAN WOMEN COMPLICIT

Trump’s Red Misogyny Spreads Across the Land

There was a time when Kanye West took the microphone on the stage of a Katrina Disaster Relief benefit and screamed, “George Bush doesn’t care about Black people.” Where is he now to stand up and say, “President Trump doesn’t care about women.” Oh yeah, he’s too busy wearing his red “Hitler hat” on TV, ineffectively trying to explain himself to everyone who made fun of his proclamations. In the end, evidence will prove that Mr. West has no worthy opinion about anything.

In Donald Trump’s world, men get to decide things and most, if not all, women with claims of sexual misconduct against any man, are NOT to be taken seriously. He mocks them, denies their accounts and to make matter worse, adds, “the Kavanaugh allegations show it’s a very scary time for young men in America.” The President of the United States went on stage at one of his redneck rallies and mocked the Senate Judiciary Committee testimony of Christine Blasey Ford. Our great Orange Leader doesn’t care about women. There, someone had to say it.

The group I would like to address today are the Republican women who go to Trump’s rallies and are complicit in the devaluation of women. If you have watched the HULU TV series The Handmaid’s Tale, you can imagine what would happen if those women, claiming to be patriots of America, stood by while Trump and his Supreme Court ruled against women.

The TV series is based on the best-selling novel by Margaret Atwood and is set in a place called Gilead, a totalitarian society that broke away from the United States and is ruled by a fundamentalist regime that treats women as property of the state. The justification for taking power over women is a plummeting birth rate. In the story, the few remaining fertile women are forced into sexual servitude, so that the powerful people in the land can procreate. The religious overtones and language of this plot shows that a society could be taken over by zealots, you know, like Islamic states. Only in this one, it’s the far-right Christians who have all the power.

There is a flaw in our current reality when good Christian people get sucked into the dogma of The Donald without any regard for the fact the he personally could care less about Christianity. He worships money. And if we take the latest reportage from the New York Times to be only half true, Trump was taught by his father and crafty lawyers how to cheat the system long before he was able to talk in whole sentences. Well, he’s still struggling with learning how to do that, but the fraud and deception is hard-wired into the Trump Organization. Surprise, Surprise!

The Trumps have been stealing from the U.S. Treasury for more than a half century. When we finally get to see his tax returns, it will likely become clear that he hasn’t coughed up his fair share of taxes, ever. Since playing fair and being treated fairly is such a common theme with Donald Trump, it’s contra to the very martyr complex this anarchistic moron embodies. But I didn’t vote for him, like the majority of America.

Once women side with the men in every instance of sexual harassment, misconduct or violent attacks, who will be left to pray for the casualties? The lifelong psychological burdens placed on these women are unimportant to these red state lunatics. When it comes to getting one certain judge on the high court, the end justifies the means with these ladies. And we thought that women had progressed in these United States. I guess the orange man trumps logic, equal rights and control of women’s’ bodies.

When the government becomes the vehicle for religious goals and rules, we are no better than those religious states we occasionally put down with our words and actions. Brett Kavanaugh is a pawn in the passion play of government taking away more power from both men and women. He doesn’t have to be the chosen person to get the job done.  There are many overly conservative zealots on the court already, just pick one and put him in there. Why are we making this choice about whether you believe a woman who says he’s not fit to be there? He’s proven that he doesn’t have the temperament and is way too political to hold the post.

I can’t help but wonder why our new Supreme Court candidate is not a woman. It must be hard to find a female jurist who would be a guarantee to overturn Roe Vs. Wade for the Evangelicals. I don’t believe in the Supreme Court. Why would a supposed impartial group of deciders have built in bias in its selection process? Can’t a president just find someone who doesn’t have political bias?

If only the women of America would come together and help the men decide these things. But, unfortunately, millions of women in this country are complicit. It’s all politics, and they don’t see the light until it happens to one of their sons or daughters.

If you mock Dr. Ford, you are dismissing the power your grandmothers and mothers gained with their right to vote. Do you dismiss Jerry Sandusky and what happened at Penn State? Do you dismiss what happened to all those boys and girls at the hands to the Catholic Church? Do you dismiss what happened to thousands of gymnasts treated by their so-called male doctor? Why would you laugh at Dr. Ford at your Trump rallies? Have you no decency?

We’re seeing the results of people looking the other way with this white washed investigation of Kavanaugh’s misconduct. This complicity needs to be brought into the purifying light of a new day. How do you believe a man when his con job takes away your rights and gives him more power? Donald Trump doesn’t care about women who don’t give him what he wants. You’ve been warned, sisters.
