TRUMP’S PETTY PERSONAL WARS

Miscalculations & Misleading Information

In his three years as president, Donald Trump has lied so much that when things get wretchedly dangerous, he cannot be trusted to lead the nation. One might argue that much of what has happened within the last few months is his fault, but it’s just part of Donald’s petty personal war against so many enemies, so many critics and so many decisions made in the past. Those who decide to stay on “his side” will eventually realize that common sense and long-term strategy have been thrown out of the window.

Donald Trump thinks he is a master salesman. Like a cunningly corrupt deal maker, he says things to close a contract without any comprehension that his pitch was outrageously wrong or not attainable. Like the salesman who takes the money and runs, Trump has forgotten all his promises. He lies his way out of his stance when he gets push back from Fox News. The sad truth is the knuckleheads at Fox News can move our foreign policy with their crafty talk and opinions. They own a strange kind of “thought-control” over the most powerful person in the world.

Trump never believed in the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPA) with Iran, not because he studied it or understood it, but because it was the work of the Obama Administration along with five other nations and the European Union. The thrust of this treaty was nuclear non-proliferation. I guess the Donald didn’t think that aspect of the deal was worth it.

LIE #1

As a candidate, Trump rallied his mobs with a piece of misinformation that he constantly repeated. He claimed that part of JCPA involved the US paying Iran $150 billion. NOT TRUE. During years of sanctions against that country and its leaders, we took their bank accounts and held their money. Under the JCPA we returned those funds. Most experts believe it was more like $60 billion.

LIE #2

Trump thought that Iran’s leaders would come to the table to negotiate a better deal after the US pulled out of the nuclear treaty. Our president’s thick-headed approach to people is always wrong. If Donald Trump hadn’t been given more than a million dollars before he was ten years old, he would never have been able to start a business. He makes a lot of mistakes with his wealth, leading to bankruptcy and heavy borrowing to stay afloat. Trump’s biggest weaknesses are his inability to judge people and his lack of understanding about other cultures and religions. Leaving the JCPA gave Iran the green light to make more nukes, not less. Trump truly believed his oxymoronic logic would prevail.

LIE #3

Donald Trump thought it would be okay to kill Iran’s top military leader when he arrived at the Baghdad airport from Tehran. To me, it’s the tail wagging the dog. For those who don’t get the reference, it describes a situation in which an important event, powerful person or organization is controlled by someone or something much less important or powerful. Let’s apply this to current events. IMPEACHMENT (something hugely big to Trump) was on his mind when he ordered the hit because an ASSASSINATION (something less important in Trump’s head) would be talked about more than impeachment.

Trump also believes in the power of being at war during a reelection campaign. It has been said that America never changes presidents during a war, but could the war itself become the reason to remove him from office? The big lie here is that taking out General Qasem Soleimani has made the world safer. Both Donald Trump and Secretary of State Mike Pompeo are LYING when they try to put the lipstick on that ugly pig.

With the lack of strategy and clear communication from our president, there are many rumors already flying around. The Sunday Times out of London claimed that Suleimani was not taken out by the US military but was the victim of Israeli special forces. They seem to be feeding a theory that this whole matter stemmed from a disagreement with people in Syria, and that Trump’s taking responsibility for the strike is a favor to his buddy Benjamin Netanyahu, the Prime Minister of Israel who is trying to get reelected. Okay, there are some problems with this one, because it would indicate that Trump is risking all credibility with our armed forces for a political favor. What kind of leader would ask another leader to do that kind of “favor?” THIS JUST IN: this rumor was significant enough for Netanyahu to make a statement today that Israel had nothing to do with the hit on the Iranian leader.

Donald Trump’s paranoia and inability to process information with any kind of logical strategy is hurting the United States, and not just the stock market. War does many things to a country and most of them are bad, unless you’re in the weapons and armaments business.

Donald Trump isn’t fit to decide when to go to war, how to fight a war and where the red lines lie. When he has repeated his threat to go after “cultural sites” in the proud Persian area of the world, where many believe civilization began, he is saying he cares not about international laws of war. Should he hit cultural sites, he would be committing a war crime and, if found guilty, his punishment could be a death sentence. But then, President Trump believes he is above the law.

Hope that Trump will enjoy being neighbors with Edward Snowden, but then, that is not how this story will end. Stay tuned. We are about to see America go to war so that Trump can stay in Washington. STOP HIM NOW AMERICA!

New Book About America

The book that tells it like it is…

Gold, God, Guns & Goofballs shows how we’ve wasted our GOLD on bad wars and corruption. While GOD is there for many people as a spiritual enrichment and the provider of glowing feelings, the truth is just praying and believing will not change our major arc. We don’t determine who gets a GUN. We aren’t sure if we have paramilitary groups ready to storm the White House or a White Castle. There is no control of weapons. The GOOFBALLS with the power constantly try to manipulate us into spending more money on bombs and tanks and wars. When all of our institutions are infected with neglect and fall in disrepair, we will only have ourselves to blame. This book is not an antidote for the left or right, it’s an accelerant to move the middle off their collective asses to go do something positive for America.

TWITTER IS THE PROBLEM

Trump Constantly Violates Twitter Policies

The Twitter Rules are clear. “Violence, harassment and other similar types of behavior discourage people from expressing themselves, and ultimately diminish the value of global public conversation. Our rules are to ensure all people can participate in the public conversation freely and safely.”

Those are nice marketing words, but let’s look more deeply inside the policies to get the specifics.

Violence: You may not threaten violence against an individual or a group of people. We also prohibit the glorification of violence.

Terrorism/violent extremism: You may not threaten or promote terrorism or violent extremism.

Abuse/harassment: You may not engage in the targeted harassment of someone or incite other people to do so. This includes wishing or hoping that someone experiences physical harm.

Hateful conduct: You may not promote violence against, threaten, or harass other people on the basis of race, ethnicity, national origin, sexual orientation, gender, gender identity, religious affiliation, age, disability, or serious disease.

I was once banned from Twitter for 12 hours because I called Lindsey Graham a “political whore.” I was saying that the Senator from South Carolina was politically motivated in his actions and is a person who is willing to do anything to achieve a particular goal (Trump’s attention.) I took my spanking like a man and jumped back on the twitter wagon after I served my 12-hour sentence, but what about Trump?

Let’s look at this tweet from the Commander in Chief of the United States of America, “Iran has been nothing but problems for many years. Let this serve as a WARNING that if Iran strikes any Americans, or American assets, we have targeted 52 Iranian sites (representing the 52 American hostages taken by Iran many years ago), some at a very high level & important to Iran &  the Iranian culture, and those targets, and Iran itself, WILL BE HIT VERY FAST AND VERY HARD. The USA wants no more threats!”

That is clearly a threat of violence against a group of people. It’s obviously a glorification of violence and a promise to hit specific targets within a country. Does Trump get a pass because he’s president? Yes, and it has been that way since the beginning.

Everyone in the world knows that the United States Department of Defense has weapons of mass destruction at its fingertips, and there is no doubt that Iran and their leaders know that they are under-matched by our destructive force. So, in a very definite way, Donald J. Trump through his Twitter account @realDonaldTrump is bullying a whole nation. What does Twitter say about that?

“People are allowed to post content, including potentially inflammatory content, as long as they’re not violating the Twitter Rules. It’s important to know that Twitter does not screen content or remove potentially offensive content.

As a policy, we do not mediate content or intervene in disputes between users. However, targeted abuse or harassment may constitute a violation of the Twitter Rules and Terms of Service. If you are a victim of targeted abuse or harassment, read more about online abuse.”

So, let’s see if I have this right. One may post inflammatory content if they are not in violation of the rules. Huh? Twitter admits they don’t screen content or remove offensive matter. Huh? If you violate the rules someone must turn you in, otherwise Twitter would never know. Gee, that means that someone who likes Lindsey Graham must have complained about my tweet.

Why don’t we all start complaining about Trump’s tweets? Could one person take down the President’s Twitter account? Unlikely, unless that person is Jack Dorsey, the head man at Twitter, who I believe is a total self-serving goofball. Can I call him that on Twitter?

Apparently, the president and his cohorts are afforded a special place at Twitter. They can threaten and bully companies, organizations, parties and individuals without any scrutiny, oversight or actions. The blood is now on Jack Dorsey’s hands and the hands of all the other rich kids who created social media. Sadly, there is no judgment day as the almighty dollar drives your ethics, morals and policies. If Twitter was to close Trump’s account, that would very likely end their business. How did they become so powerful? Surely, they are the problem, not the person issuing threats on their platform.

THE TRUMP PRESIDENCY

Malformed, Myopic & Malignant

If I were the president of a company and more than 49% of my employees wanted me gone from my job, I would leave a sonic boom as I blasted out the door after resigning. However, the public is a bit fickle when it comes to presidents, and sometimes they look better long after they left office. Jimmy Carter might have been a mediocre one-term president, but he’s an amazing human being.

Let’s consider this famous movie line, “If you build it, they will come.” In case you forgot, that was the tagline for Field of Dreams, a movie about a man’s desire to reconnect with his father and the past to somehow make it right. Yes, it’s a baseball movie, but it’s really a story about how the past generation should always give the next generation something good to take with them.

Forming a government is a parliamentary phrase. Presidents build administrations. We all know that Donald Trump, up to the time he became President, had only a donor’s viewpoint of politics. Judging by the recipients of Trump’s donations over the years, it’s clear that his contributions were more like bribes and less like gestures of loyalty to politicians’ dogmas. From state’s attorney generals to dogcatchers, he gave them money to get things done. That’s who he is and how he works.

When putting together his own team, he was led more by the way things looked rather than vetting people. In some cases, he didn’t even talk with the person he hired. What was that all about? The end results were disastrous.

People he hired solely because they were “generals,” even after the Donald said he knew more than all the generals, didn’t work out. Think about H.R. McMaster, John Kelly, James Mattis and Michael Flynn. They are all generals and they are all gone. I have said many times that Trump hired Mattis just because he liked saying the man’s nickname, “Mad Dog Mattis.”

Trump constantly told us that rich successful businesspeople would help him govern. He ended up with a bunch of self-serving people who saw Trump as a goofball or, as Rex Tillerson called him, “a fucking moron.” Whatever they thought they were bringing to the goal of making America great was neutered by Trump’s inability to absorb important details or learn proper procedures from them.

Trump’s frustration with how things worked lured him into recruiting people outside of the government like Michael Cohen, Corey Lewandowski and Rudy Giuliani. He wanted them to do his dirty deeds beyond the chain of command, rules of government and Congressional oversight.

From the beginning, Trump placed terrible people in his cabinet. Bringing in Rick Perry to run the Department of Energy, while he campaigned to eliminate it, was a stupid move. Perry didn’t even know his department controlled the nuclear arsenal. Then there’s Betsy de Vos, who knows nothing about public or private schools. A judge just fined her $100,000 personally because she was too dim to understand what she did wrong.

The lack of vision, planning and problem solving with this group of wannabe’s and family members is appalling. Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner are useless, vapid trophy posers. Jared didn’t fix the Middle East and Ivanka totally blasted that equal rights thing right past her father’s cock block of maternity pay and time off. Why are they still there?

Trump went through two press secretaries until he surrendered by elevating his wife’s press person, Stephanie Grisham. She ended press briefings so the press couldn’t challenge the administration or ask questions about its policies. This news blackout is contra to Trump’s need for camera time, so he holds impromptu and unprepared press briefings himself, screaming over the whine of a helicopter on the south lawn. Shoddy, at best.

Some people with serious credentials and experience have been pulled into Trump’s inner circle of harshness and lack of empathy. When you see the angry, defensive, anti-press actions of Peter Navarro, Kellyanne Conway, Mike Pompeo and Mick Mulvaney, understand that they are simply echoing their boss’s personality.

Cancers of deception, ignorance and stonewalling have infected all the troops that remain in the White House. Those who disagree with this president get sent packing or left to write books on their own accord. It has been reported that John Bolton received a $2 million advance on a book deal to tell all. This is the main reason he is not testifying; it would queer the book deal.

We are at the stage four level of this presidency. Yes, there is an election coming in less than a year, but what we have seen so far should teach America a great lesson. Maybe the major benefit of all this impeachment crap is a lesson about how NOT to be a president. In the end, it’s all Trump’s fault. He never graduated to governance and stayed too long in politician mode. His sick need to win at any cost has replaced the kind of sound judgement required for leadership.

The worst part of the Trump presidency will be a lingering anger and distrust of facts. When Trump goes, and he will one way or the other, there are those who will be frustrated and will continually claim how unfair Donald was treated. That cult will have to find another leader, but they will always be pissed off at something they cannot understand. That is what is most sad.

IS FACEBOOK PROMOTING FAKE NEWS?

Social Media is More Powerful Than Trump

Americans will believe anything presented in an official way. We are about to learn some lessons that cannot be unlearned no matter what anyone says or does. People are so fixed in their positions that they will often use one lie to discredit another lie. Allow me to paint the picture.

Mark Zuckerberg, the founder of Facebook, has sat through a number of interviews lately trying to explain the policies of his social media giant. He says they were created to keep America safer and less duped by nefarious online characters. In my latest book, Gold, God, Guns & Goofballs, I dedicate a couple of chapters to the ways social media is ill-equipped for this task. With the possibility that many outrageous lies from Donald Trump and his reelection campaign will land on Facebook, what is the Zuck to do? He hasn’t a plan.

I like to use language correctly and accurately. A favorite phrase of my high school English teacher was, “be specific!” When you call something a “safe zone,” please be sure that no specific person will be blown up there. Let’s think about the term “social media.” It’s a vague phrase, but over time we have learned that its websites and applications that enable users to create and share content or participate in social networking. Do the owners of social networking websites or applications have the right to censor the content that is shared on their platforms? People and groups are now challenging Facebook to decide the veracity of the content posted by its members. The people at Facebook can’t monitor every post fast enough, and after hearing Zuckerberg on NBC, they won’t being doing much more than they do now.

When Hillary Clinton said that the Russians are looking to co-opt one of the Democratic candidates running for President, her claim was widely reposted and the comments flowed. How can Facebook cut that off? A sidebar comment will be appropriate here. Why is Hillary Clinton doing anything to affect the campaigns of those running for President? Oh, yeah, she still feels that social media hurt her in 2016. I get that, but why attack anyone without proof? Go be a grandmother, Hill.

Now we learn that Mitt Romney has a fake Twitter feed under the name “Pierre Delecto” who appeared to be an anti-Trump guy. The page has been taken down, but what is going on? When someone with that much credibility uses Twitter to stir up some dust behind Trump, I can’t help wondering if it was just an experiment or an effort to learn how to use Twitter politically.

I was banned by Twitter for 12 hours because I called Lindsey Graham a “political whore,” which seemed to be the best way to characterize his bouncing back and forth on matters concerning Trump. After all, the second meaning of the word “whore” conveys exactly my thought, “a person who is regarded as willing to do anything to get a particular thing.” I was eventually returned to active status, but I wonder who at Twitter decides what I can say? They let Trump post anything, even FAKE NEWS and purposeful lies that can damage a person and a country.

The reason why people like Joe Biden are so concerned about the policies at Facebook, Twitter and all the other social media sites is because they understand the power of those platforms. Our First Amendment protects the “press” from censorship. Social media, however, is NOT the press, even though they are used to spread the written word quite nicely. If I write something on Twitter or Facebook, wouldn’t I be the publisher, it is my account? I’m just using the social media servers to distribute my content. Why do they get to edit my words? Their “standards” are not a free pass to the final determination of what is true. What is about to change and maybe codified in law is that Facebook and Twitter could be classified as a publisher, therefore would actually have more First Amendment rights.

My conclusion on all this is much like what people think about video games. Many of them are ultra-violent expressions cloaked in a game. Some say that professional football is just war put into a game. But as more and more people are drawn into video games, players are now being organized into large tournaments where they can win millions of dollars. Does that make it right? Everyone knows that the use of violence in many games make them more exciting.

The geeks who own social media companies have found ways to mine data for monetary rewards. They created a marketing platform for companies, groups and political candidates who pay money for ads and placement on the site. They are not going to take every ad, they do have procedures, but they are not going to stop the money coming in from you, me or Russia. They take the money and run the ads while having no ability to monitor comments or reposts. They are lying about how it works.

Just like video game makers aren’t going to take the violence out of their products, social media is not going to protect your privacy any more than they must, and things that cost too much money will be delayed. Trump’s fake news is powerful, and his campaign has tons of money to spread his words further than Facebook or Twitter can manage. If Russia decides to push against Trump, he will not be helped by any social media site. They simply don’t know what to do.  It’s a beast out of control!

SANCTIONS & CEASEFIRE

Trump’s Illogical Foreign Policy

There is something so disturbing about President Donald J. Trump that makes me wonder if he has the cognitive ability to think in linear form. We don’t know what was said and heard on the call with Turkey’s President, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, but the two leaders’ comments and actions seem to be totally out of sync. If you want a leader to not invade a country, perhaps you should tell them BEFORE THEY ATTACK!

Donald Trump says he told Erdoğan that moving his troops and talking land in Northern Syria would be a bad idea. However, the text of the Turkish side of that call leads one to believe that Trump gave Turkey permission to land grab with the intent of resettling refugees avoiding the wrath of Bashar al-Assad, the evil president of Syria. In April of 2016, the United Nations and Arab League Envoy to Syria estimated that 400,000 people died in the war.

Speaking from the Oval Office on 10-16-2019, President Trump said that Turkey’s incursion into Syria is their problem. The exact quote was, “They have a problem at the border; it’s not our border,” and that “they’ve got a lot of sand over there. There’s a lot of sand they can play with.” What a dingbat remark. He has no idea how uncaring and distorted his comments are. Not only is it our problem, it’s a snag we created by our actions. We started a war by pulling fewer than 50 soldiers out of a place that had been experiencing relative calm. Trump refuses to admit he is wrong while being played by another ruthless world leader who has become nothing short of a sultan in Turkey.

While both Republicans and Democratic Congresspeople are highly critical of Trump’s bizarre plan, the President demanded a stop to the invasion and called for a ceasefire. Erdoğan has Russia and Putin on his side and he doesn’t give a whit about Trump’s babbling. The man is under impeachment investigation and he thinks that his opinions are the only things that matter about the law, a war, and the world. He’s a complete buffoon with no mental acumen and no talent for foreign policy and world events. The Donald is harming America, right in front of everyone’s eyes. Someone needs to step up and STOP HIM NOW.

VP Mike Pence and Secretary of State Mike Pompeo traveling to Turkey for an emergency ceasefire negotiation with Erdoğan is almost comical. Why didn’t Trump make his position clear on the phone call? Fox News reported that, “President Trump ‘went off script’ during his call on Sunday with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, before he announced that the U.S. would withdraw all troops from northeast Syria ahead of a Turkish military operation in the region.”

Trump was supposed to say, “Tell Erdogan to stay north of the border,” but he ignored some of his own points. I swear, this man has a chip in his brain controlled by Putin controlling him to do dirty deeds which affect the very security of our nation.

Trump claims that the Kurds are “no angels,” but what exactly does that mean? He spouts about the cost of the transaction, ignoring the fact that the Kurds fought against ISIS for us and captured more than 10,000 terrorists. This idiot president fails to comprehend they lost more than 10,000 men and women in the fight against ISIS. He’s simply blocked it out to cover his lies and bad judgment.

Trump believes that some ISIS fighters were released from prison to lure America back into a war in the Middle East. Has he forgotten that ISIS, and Al-Qaeda before them, were trained in those areas and attacked the United States on 9-11? He doesn’t care if ISIS prisoners get released, claiming they will go to Europe. Why is that good for America and the world? How lame is it for the President to tell the American public that Syria is 7,000 miles from us and so what happens there is not that important to our country and people.

Trump abuses his power by waging economic war with sanctions. He threatens to raise tariffs on Turkish products, thinking President Erdoğan will bend to his will. Actually, he is forcing Turkey and other fringe countries into the arms of Russia and Putin. If Trump keeps going, we will lose face and the support of our international allies.

As the world gets worse, Trump continues to praise himself and gloat on the false premise that he knows what he is doing. The United States is being run by a lunatic who believes his unitary executive position cannot be challenged by equal branches of government. If we do not stop him now, we might have to fight for our democracy for decades to come.

The mistake in Syria proves Trump is unfit to be President of our country, or any country. He repeats himself endlessly while those who believe in him are guilty of a strange idol worship. They will be judged by a higher power. For now, however, we must get rid of this presidential idiot who is damaging America more and more every day. Donald Trump won’t learn any lesson, even when his two stooges, Pence and Pompeo come back from Turkey with their tails between their legs with nothing accomplished in Syria. This is a failure of epic proportions.

IN TRUMP WE TRUST

The Burden of Bad Management

In the last week, we have learned exactly who Donald J. Trump is and why he’s more than unhinged and unqualified to be president. My eyes and ears were caught by a statement from Pat Robertson. I respect his committed to God and his Holy Savior, but I rarely agree with his political statements. It became news when he pointed his gnarly finger at the White House.

On his 700 Club TV show, Robertson said, “I am absolutely appalled that the United States is going to betray those democratic forces in northern Syria.” He also offered that if Trump let the Turks invade northern Syria and attack the Kurds, he will lose his “Mandate of Heaven!” Wow, I had no idea that Trump was on God’s personal payroll, even though he seems to be on lots of payrolls these days.

Two Dictators

Robertson called Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan a “thug” and “dictator,” which proves that the “pious” religious broadcaster just might be more informed about geopolitical issues than our president. But then, no one ever said Trump knew much about global realities, well, except Trump himself. Robertson pointed out that there is a sizable Christian community among the Kurds.

Trump consistently told us that if we voted for Hillary Clinton America would be drawn into a war. Well, the Donald has just created a war with his bad management of the Syria situation. He threw the Kurds, our allies, under the bus, exposing them to squashing by the Turkish army. Once John Bolton left the administration, no one was left to “explain” things to Trump. We have just entered the most dangerous time of the century and Republicans don’t see their enabling as a potential threat to America’s security. And, oh yeah, North Korea has an atomic bomb. How did that happen?

Trump spends most of his time tweeting his discontent, racing to rallies to shout his lies and meeting with attorneys. He proves his distraction with his actions and schedule. He wastes time and jet fuel by standing on the north lawn screaming over the whine of Marine One. When can we get back to regular order with calm daily press briefings? When Donald Trump is ousted from office!

The Kurds have learned they cannot trust the USA when it comes to war and support. They did a deal with the devil and are now being repaid by the devil himself, Donald Trump. Surely, hundreds of thousands of Kurds will be displaced and thousands will lose their lives just because Trump failed to say NO to Turkey’s sultan in waiting.

It’s rather amazing that Trump didn’t see President Recep Tayyip’s strategy as nothing but a land grab. Trump probably thinks the Turkish resettlement plan is a good idea. Turkey takes some land, even it means killing a bunch of innocent people, then pushes all those immigrants who traveled to Turkey for safety into the newly “liberated” area. At worst, it’s ethnic cleansing, at best, it’s an invasion of another nation for the purpose of getting rid of unwanted people. I am totally appalled that the press and TV journalists called it a “military operation” rather than what it actually was, a fucking invasion.

I wonder if Trump has thought about doing the same thing on the Mexican border here. The entire world knows that Donald J. Trump cannot be trusted. What a horrible president and a contemptible human being! The time has come for America to cast off our political affiliations and come together to right this ship. Trump must be taken out of office as soon as possible. He simply isn’t smart enough to be president.

A PREGNANT ECONOMY

Trump’s Denial of Umbilical Connection

Donald Trump has been railing against globalism for a long time. Perhaps he fails to understand the structural foundation of trade, or, worse doesn’t have the knowledge and facts a true world leader should.

As President, historians will note either what you did you to help people (Obamacare) or what you did to hurt people (#TrumpTradeWar). There’s nothing a person can do to change facts or repair their narrative. Trump just may be writing a one-term reality.

If you see the stock market as the sole indicator of economic stability in America, you are only half right. Only 50% of working citizens own stock, the rest usually hold debt. Trump is so far from middle-class reality that he cannot possibly understand the challenges of a working family. Rather than show empathy, he transmits tropes of hate and fear.

I’m noticing that the shelves at Target and Walmart seem to have less inventory. Some stores have reconfigured with wider aisles, so that fewer choices aren’t so glaring. There is a wait and see attitude regarding buying based on tariffs and customer demand.

Macy’s CEO warns that the trade war could force stores to raise prices and send a message to President Trump that his consumers do not have an appetite for higher prices. Brick and mortar retailers are nervous. Will American malls become the next shuttered structures, victims of globalism and bad trade policies?

Like a pregnant woman engaging in risky behavior, Trump is wielding significant damage to not only our economy, but to the world’s monetary structure. China is only part of Trump’s problems. The Donald’s bullheadedness is killing our farmers and the insulting act of throwing them scant domestic aid while their soybeans are rotting is shameful and un-American.

Trump’s use of Twitter as an economic weapon against the central bank and its chairman is beneath the presidency. He continually equates experts and hard-working people to enemies when they suggest a different position than his. Trump’s ego appears to be his sole priority and his fear of recession might be the only reality that gets his unfettered attention. He seems to comprehend that a bad economy will be sure death in the voting booth for him.

The Donald is going to kill the baby. He refuses to take the doctor’s advice because he thinks he knows better than anyone else. He’s bad for the environment. He’s bad for the economy. He’s bad for America. And, oh yeah, he’s a racist. It’s time to abort his presidency. We have a fool in the White House.

RENOUNCE THE DEVIL NOW

When Does America Unite Against Hate?

The headline is always the same and the faux concern by the bubbled-headed blonde on TV is well-rehearsed. We can brag about how “great America is again,” but the people who make the laws are complicit. And I am going to say it as clearly as I can, DONALD TRUMP IS STOKING HATE. 80% of everything President Trump says or tweets is negative and some of it is downright hateful. The cable TV news networks spent hours over the last weekend attempting to either determine what is racist or defending racism. By the time we got to Sunday, it happened again. A lunatic with a gun acted on his hate.

A 6-year-old boy, a 13-year-old girl and a man in his 20s were killed at the Gilroy Garlic Festival in California when a gunman opened fire with an assault-type rifle. And as part of our tradition, we learned the weapon was an AK-47-style rifle that was purchased legally by the gunman in Nevada. Move on, nothing to see here. It’s all legal.

CNN identified the 19-year-old suspect as Santino William Legan. Oh yeah, the alleged gunman also injured at least 12 others before he was fatally shot by three officers who responded within a minute of the gunfire’s beginning. And despite the locals’ bragging about the quick response time, people died. The alleged gunman cut through the fence in order to avoid security and start his rampage.

We also have the recent ritual of “what we’ve learned about the shooter.” His Instagram posts contained a picture of people at the festival and a mention of a white supremacist book. Oh great, now we understand that he just hates people and wanted to kill them. What the fuck kind of country are we that we can’t open our eyes to the problem here?

As long as Donald Trump is president, things are going to get worse. We know the KKK endorses Trump. David Duke, the former Ku Klux Klan Grand Wizard, said it was ridiculous to condemn Trump. “If he disavows me fine. Let him do whatever he thinks he needs to do to become president of the United States.” In other words, the end justifies the means. The terrorist in New Zealand who killed 51 people at a mosque said that he supports US President Donald Trump as “a symbol of renewed white identity and common purpose.” And I keep hearing people on TV comparing Donald Trump to Southern presidential wannabe George Wallace, a known racist and Klan supporter from our dark past. It’s 2019 and that’s not a giant red light?

When Trump was running for President, Republican Congressman Pete King told The Daily Beast in a statement, “Donald Trump’s refusal to denounce and disavow support from KKK supporter David Duke and white supremacist organizations is indefensible and disgraceful.” But now that Trump has turned up the racism with vile attacks on people of color, where are those Republican leaders? Where are the so-called Christian icons in America? They too have blood on their hands.

When will we as a people unite and fight hate? The greenlight that Trump has given the fringe radicals, racists and neo-Nazis is real. Consider yourself crazy if you ever expect Trump to admit that this is part of his plan. He spent too many nights reading Hitler’s speeches not to have a little of that good old white nationalism rub off on him. Or perhaps Donald Trump is simply too stupid to comprehend how his words promote the hate into the shootings that are taking place.

Trump’s sick calculation is thinking he can divide black against white, urban against rural, devout against agnostic and rich against poor. He believes the disgruntled people on both sides will propel him to a win in 2020. His political intimidation within his own party has poisoned the Congress, the Supreme Court and the Justice Department. He has convinced many people that he’s the winner so they will stick with him. His wrath has brought several prominent politicians to their knees, while others just walked away from Trump’s stupid game of political in-fighting.

Here’s a simple test. Ask each of those maniacs who took a gun against innocent people if they were influenced at all by Donald Trump. Let’s uncover the motivations of those who do such dastardly things. Maybe someone could then bring a wrongful death suit against the perpetrator’s estate, claiming Donald Trump’s words as the impetus. It would be like going after the person who screams “fire” in a theatre when there is no fire. People are getting killed here, and someone is yelling negatives toward people of color in America. And we all know who he is.

Oh, you can be a loyal little soldier and claim that it’s ridiculous to blame Donald Trump, the person who looks to blame others in every situation he encounters. Sure, you can say that the other person is the problem, when the one person who is stirring up hate is the President of the United States. The KKK, white Nationalists and racists can take the day off, because the head cheerleader for their cause is the very President they adore. Trump just thinks that he’s getting away with another con job. I will always contend that Trump’s got a large hunk of hate in heart and should get a mega share of the blame for the steep increase of hate crimes in America. Eventually you will see I am right, once Trump leaves office and people begin to learn the truth. Hate begets hate.

Impact of Trump on America

LIARS, LOSERS & RACISTS

Trump’s Challenges in Washington

When I first visited the attraction Stone Mountain Park in Georgia, I was not only amazed at the massive carving of three Confederate heroes in the face of the largest exposed piece of granite in the world, but what I found at the visitor center disturbed me greatly. There were four restrooms on the right side of the building, two for men and two for women. A local explained that once two of the bathrooms were for WHITES ONLY and two for COLORED. In 1979, the restrooms were still there but the signs were gone. I learned there remained a deep-seated racism embedded in many people of the south.

It wasn’t unusual for some drunken fool at a party in Atlanta to tell a tasteless, degrading and racist joke right in front of African Americans serving the food. I was appalled, but had I objected in any way I would have been chided by a local saying I was just a northern Yankee who didn’t know better. I even had friends who claimed the south won the civil war, but to repair the nation their ancestors had worked with northerners to resolve the situation. I found their narrative of sacrifice most disturbing. They were rewriting history right in front of me.

I truly believe Donald Trump is now and always has been a racist. He likes to live in a rat pack world, where the only African Americans who fit in are those of fame or wealth. He has his “Sammy Davis, Jr. friends,” but deep down inside he carries the feelings of his father echoing that the only reason black Americans don’t do better is because they don’t work hard enough. Our president also holds a dark resentment for Hispanics with a special kind of hate for Mexicans, even though the Trump Organization hires undocumented Mexicans at their businesses.

The Trump administration will end food stamp benefits for three million people with regulations curtailing each state’s authority to enroll residents who receive welfare benefits. When Ronald Reagan did the same thing, it led to crack cocaine being sold on the corners of many metropolitan cities and deepened the divide between black and white in this country. Trump cares only about those people above a certain stratum. More painkillers? Sure, as long as it’s good for business.

Considering Trump’s horrible policies, his quest to look important and his constant lying, one must ask how this man become President. I never have and never will vote for him.

While sitting with the prime minister of Pakistan in the Oval Office on 7-22-2019, Donald Trump told reporters that he was personally asked by India’s prime minister, Narendra Modi, to mediate the Kashmir conflict with Pakistan. Modi’s Foreign Office quickly issued a statement that “no such request has been made.” Trump obviously doesn’t understand the implication of saying something that makes India look weak while sitting with Imran Khan of Pakistan. Trump is diplomatically dense and unaware that this border conflict has been going on since 1947 and it’s extremely sensitive to the Indian people. Well, cross India off the list of reliable allies. Trump just dumped on a friend.

It is clear by now that Trump has surrounded himself with real losers. In the beginning, reasonably intelligent people were assembled to fill the cabinet and advisory positions, however more than a hundred people have left the White House because of a perceived lack of their loyalty or direct confrontation on his policies,. Trump has slowly worked his way down to the bottom of the barrel, and those who remain would rather kiss his big fat ass rather than keep America safe. These scums don’t serve at the pleasure of the president, they serve at the insanity of this fake president.

There are some in Congress who silently harbor Trump’s racist viewpoints. These are not conservative viewpoints; they are hard-held beliefs that white males should rule. There is a baked-in fear of different cultures and colors, and those elected officials who carry this flag of bigoted cause and action are shameful. Charlottesville was only the beginning of what we now clearly see is white nationalism. This group is willing to bend or ignore the very meaning of racism to hold power. Imagine, Congressmen who publicly deny that saying “go back to where you came from” is not racist or xenophobic on the highest order. Did they really win the Civil War?

Trump seems to be vocally administering a loyal test. If you disagree with him or are critical of his policies, you are somehow less American. He’s even gone so far to question others’ love of this country. Who died and made him God? How can he determine what another man or woman has in their heart? Trump is part of an era when the large boot of discrimination was just business as usual. There no space between the terror that Joseph McCarthy employed in the 1950s hearings on un-American activities and what Trump is attempting to do today. If you use fear as a power to rule, then you are not a leader. You are a tyrant.

What finally stopped McCarthy was the realization that fear didn’t put bread on the table. Fear doesn’t make America great; it stymies our development as a free democracy. If Trump is so worried about how minorities will vote, why doesn’t he do something good for all the people? If he really cares about Christians, why doesn’t he stop lying? Why do I have to remind those of faith that “Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbor” is exactly what Trump is doing to the Congresswomen of color? Why does he divide us? He is following the Hitler playbook and the Congress is failing to call him out. Issuing a demand that people leave the country is what Hitler did before he ordered the trains.

We can only hope that the history books of the future show that President Donald Trump attempted to bring back the past and became a total failure of a president. We hope future generations will read that he was a liar and a loser. It will be good for them to learn how his racist policies and rhetoric became his downfall. If this doesn’t happen, then America will have lost the war.

TRUMP’S MOB BOSSING

The Difference Between “Go” and “Send”

Watching TV news networks drives me crazy. It doesn’t matter which one, they all hyper-position and bias-bend their stories to fit whichever political vein they have decided to hit. Once they make the connection, they pump bile and venom into the blood supply of their victims, ah, I mean, audience. It’s a respect of journalism that drives my opinions.

I have been at major music events where the adoring fans became a roaring mob. They sometimes become so vocal and loud when singing along with the music that they drown out the vocalist. Even though the audience might have the wrong words, the artist will sometimes just pause and listen to the crowd. That is what Donald Trump did at the East Carolina University rally the other night as the audience chanted “Send Her Back!”

This wasn’t an isolated, impromptu mantra. It was based on a tweet that Trump posted last Sunday morning, you know, the day people go to church, “So interesting to see ‘Progressive’ Democrat Congresswomen, who originally came from countries whose governments are a complete and total catastrophe, the worst, most corrupt and inept anywhere in the world (if they even have a functioning government at all), now loudly and viciously telling the people of the United States, the greatest and most powerful Nation on earth, how our government is to be run. Why don’t they go back and help fix the totally broken and crime infested places from which they came. Then come back and show us how it is done. These places need your help badly, you can’t leave fast enough. I’m sure that Nancy Pelosi would be very happy to quickly work out free travel arrangements!”

Trump now feigns surprise that his mob got “out of control” and started to chant “Send Her Back!’ at the rally. Let’s not forget that Trump promoted the phrase, “Lock Her Up!” at his campaign rallies when running for President against Hillary Clinton. It’s senseless for people to shout that phrase at rallies. Deportation and incarceration are both rotten. I even heard one try to downplay the “send her back” chant by declaring that Hillary Clinton is not locked up, meaning we can ignore the mob but what about the mob leader?

The difference between “Go back” and “Send her back” is significant. As chief executive, the President of the United States has the power to deport anyone. By chanting the word “send,” was the rally crowd asking Trump for action? The constant, silly attempt to sound unbiased by the talking heads on TV gets me crazy. Their duty is to expose the lies of those in power. When they ask a member of Congress if they accept Trump’s claim that he didn’t like the chant, they are giving the Donald way too much credit. Seriously, if a reporter cannot see through that kind of smoke screen and call it out, maybe it’s time for a new job.

Once again, Trump attempted to soften his line-crossing with the most used tool in his kit, the outright lie. He’s lying when he says he didn’t like the chant. If you want to be as pedantic as the press and show that he waited 13 seconds before going on with his speech, you can live there. However, I choose to call it as I see it. The crowd was trying to please Daddy with the chant, and Daddy liked it.

Trump is a racist and uses tropes to gin up the deep racism within his fan base. There is a difference between systemic racism and subconscious racism. The former is what kept people of color out of Trump Organization housing in New York. The latter is seen in people who say they never trusted Obama but cannot articulate the reasons why. It happens every day and the closet racists have found a superhero in Trump. They are out in force now.

Trump can claim he can’t control the crowds who wait for hours in the hot sun to get good seats at his rallies. He can say that it’s a free country and his followers speak their minds because of their love for the First Amendment. In fact, the mob is created in Trump’s image. Look at this cartoon and see the things Trump has said at his rallies. Most notable, “I’d like to punch him in the face,” “Knock the crap out him, would you,” “I promise you, I will pay your legal fees” and of course, “The audience hit back. That’s what we need more of.”  Those are real statements from our President, not fake news bites.

I suspect that Trump’s Sunday tweets are in violation of Federal Labor Laws. Harassment is a form of employment discrimination that violates Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, the Age Discrimination in Employment Act of 1967, (ADEA), and the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990, (ADA). Donald Trump is actually a “coworker” of the four Congressional members he is attacking in public view. They all work for the government. In the law, the harasser can be the victim’s supervisor, a supervisor in another area, an agent of the employer, a coworker, or a non-employee. The victim does not have to be the person harassed but can be anyone affected by the offensive conduct. Unlawful harassment may occur without economic injury to, or discharge of, the victim. So, why don’t those offended file a complaint? Well, the rules of the House of Representatives prevent them from doing so. What kind of country is this?

Trump is vainly trying to soften the blow by saying it was just a chant and that he didn’t like it, but that is total bullshit! His rabid crowd of fans were parroting his worst motivations. The difference between “go back” and “send her back” may not be important to you, but to those who have had to judge racial harassment and hate crime cases understand the deep pain and suffering of the victims. If any of Trump’s targets become victims of violence, he will have blood on his hands.

This isn’t going to end until Donald Trump is out of the White House and eradicated from our Democracy. His unnatural, inhuman proclivity is racism. He plays the bully due to his lack of confidence and insecurity. He attacks and wants to fight anyone who says he’s a bad boy. Maybe he needs to be put into time-out, for the rest of his life.
