Trump Got What He Wanted

When the Supreme Court decided not to consider a lower court ruling against the Louisiana case on abortion clinics in that state, I was very curious to read the dissent written by Justice Brett Kavanaugh. You can read it here.

First, Kavanaugh’s desire to permit a law demanding doctors at three clinics in Louisiana have admitting privileges at local hospitals seems to give hospital boards unusual power over the services that people can get in that state. In fact, a hospital board, always under pressure from local governments to justify expansion and the taking of public lands, does put them in a position to kowtow to the power of local governments. Does Kavanaugh even understand how local governments work?

Next, one of the most glaring aspects of this argument is that if the Court was to say the local law was constitutional, they would be declaring that only one doctor could serve the specific healthcare needs of more than two million women in the state of Louisiana. Is that really in the public interest?

The unnecessary burden on women and their families is obvious, but Kavanaugh focused on whether the other side’s prediction would be found correct. His dissent targets the accuracy of what those who brought the case said, not the incumbrance it would place on those needing the services. It’s a time trip to the 1950s, when mothers had to drive their daughters to another state to receive treatment, which at times did include an abortion. The cost and trauma of such an event was made even worse by arcane laws and policies. Does the Justice really want a return to that?

We’ve learned a lot since the Roe v. Wade. That decision in 1973 decided the issue of the constitutionality of laws that criminalized or restricted access to abortions in the United States. Kavanaugh knows this law and has commented on it. During his confirmation hearings, he said that Roe v. Wade was “stare decisis,” meaning that it was it was decided and is the legal precedent on the matter. If you were opposed to Mr. Kavanaugh’s appointment to the court, you might have believed he said it simply to get the job. If you supported him, you should’ve wanted a decision NOT based on his personal ideology. He wasn’t put on the court to be an objective jurist but rather because he believes that abortion is wrong and that Roe v. Wade was decided incorrectly. So much for stare decisis.

Perhaps this was just a “practice dissent” for the new guy on the court given to him by the Chief Justice. It did little to show his aptitude. If anything, the four-page document exposed him as the ideolog he truly is. Is it the job of the Supreme Court to take away services and clinics for millions of people in any state? Like the similar Texas law, written by the same group, the goal was to deter women’s healthcare businesses from recommending or performing abortions. The Texas law was obsessed with the width of hallways, saying the movement of gurneys and equipment would be thwarted. They were trying to put the clinics out of business and the court saw through that one as well.

I find it distasteful and repulsive that a member of the Supreme Court would use such flawed and suspicious logic to defend a law that could put more people in danger. Did we learn nothing from the back-alley butchers posing as doctors who promised to solve a “problem” for young women but ended up killing them?

The people who work at these clinics are doctors. You may disagree with their viewpoints and claim they are immoral, but you should not have the right to determine the healthcare of any United States citizen. And we should demand that the dissent of a justice quotes law instead of saying the other guys might be lying.

I don’t dislike Brett Kavanaugh because I believed Dr. Blaise Ford more than him, although I was appalled at how he handled the whole matter. I like my judges to be firm but calm. Kavanaugh seemed, and now has proven, that he is too politic to be on the court. His temperament during his confirmation hearing was uncomfortable. I don’t really care if he likes to drink beer but his sense of righteousness was appalling. I feel the same way about Justice Thomas, but it’s too late to impeach him. And unless some sordid facts about Kavanaugh come out, we will have him for the duration of his life.

Voting in America matters. The only way to reshape the court and make it more objective and balanced is to elect a President who promises to do a better job finding smart judges with integrity.

Those on the far left who think Donald Trump’s presidency is an abortion will never understand that politics in Washington is played for the long term, not instant gratification. Those on the far right who keep pushing their agenda of men deciding what women need will never get my vote. Would they trade eliminating the Second Amendment for tearing up Roe v. Wade? No, they wouldn’t. We need a just, objective Supreme Court. It’s time for Trump or hopefully the next President to right the ship.

The Confessions of a Trump Supporter

I had the pleasure of sitting next to a real Trump supporter at a fund-raising event near my hometown last weekend. When she learned that I was NOT a fan of our President, she began gently while I came boldly forth and said he was stupid. She rebuked me and said he wasn’t stupid. We could have ended it there, but more logical minds prevailed.

I was caught by her phrase, “I feel sorry for him.” Being the glib and sarcastic person I am, I agreed and added, “He doesn’t understand anything about the way the government and politics work, and even if he has something good to accomplish he’s so destructive that he’ll never be successful.” She then went to the talking points that most partisans use, like the 2018 tax cuts, which as of this writing appear will deliver refunds 8.4% less than last year. Of course, if you have lots of money you benefited from the Trump tax cuts; the rest of us did not.

I had to ask why she feels sorrow for Trump. She said that everyone seems to be against him, and she didn’t understand why we all don’t just back off and let him to his job. I wasn’t about mention that if he is left alone to do whatever he wants America could be at risk. I didn’t ask her the question I should ask of any supporter, “Do you really want a President who constantly lies?” The answer is always the same, “They all lie.”

Then something happened that really surprised me. She quickly changed the subject and said that she likes Howard Schultz (Former Starbucks CEO) who might run for president. Once again, my partisan logic reminded her that a third-party candidate would simply help reelect Trump. She smiled and said, “I win either way.” Then I thought, OMG, educated, intelligent people in the rapture of Trump simply don’t understand how politics work in America. And this is the real problem with the electorate.

People see only what they want to see and hear only what they want to hear. People in Virginia must have regressive racism genes. They seem to feel that what Governor Northam is experiencing is mostly a joke from his medical school yearbook. Could it be that the Democrat and Republican politicians are attempting to normalize blackface? What?

During an interview on CBS TV, Northam called slaves “indentured servants.” That refers to a class of people who worked for a landowner or another individual, typically for a period of five to seven years, in exchange for an expensive passage out of Europe. How can someone at the level of Governor of Virginia be so stupid? Slaves are slaves, and they were stolen from their land and violently made to submit to a trip across the Atlantic Ocean with no say in their future. THEY WERE FUCKING SLAVES!

Without much of a push, I must blame Trump for much of what has surfaced in America today. He believes all one must do to get out of any tight situation is to lie and deny. I believe his methods are eroding our ability to look at ourselves in the mirror and grasp our own beliefs and values.

During the campaign, Donald Trump said he could shoot someone on Fifth Avenue in New York City and it wouldn’t affect his popularity. He literally thinks he can get away with murder. He’s a spoiled child-bully with no moral compass. As long as the money flows and the hate is condoned, we will never see Trump for who is really is.

Without so much as a blink, I say Donald J. Trump is bad for our country. I feel deeply sorry for all those people who just can’t grasp that this lowlife, overweight, political whore is the worst president ever.

The Flaw of a Two-Party System

This is a funny country. When someone announces they want to run for President, the press and social media go crazy. Even though we are more than 600 days from the next presidential election, the political PR machine is already cranked up to full speed.

We have heard announcements from many Democratic hopefuls, but when the former Starbucks’ CEO billionaire said he would run for President as a third-party candidate the screams from the DNC could be heard around the world. Howard Schultz’s announcement is the beginning of a strong debate about how a third-party candidate, having like-minded values of one party, can definitively hurt that party. When such a candidate runs, there’s a true risk that the opposite of the intended result will happen.

We can count the examples, from Ross Perot helping elect Bill Clinton and the likelihood that Ralph Nader helped George W. Bush get elected. And those disgruntled Bernie Sanders fans who voted for Jill Stein probably helped Donald Trump get elected.

Political math based on Electoral College votes can indeed lead to an unintended consequence. When an election is very close in certain states, a third-party can easily disrupt the power of either party. Imagine a far-right, more racist candidate with a billionaires’ bankroll running against Donald Trump. If they ran as a Republican, they might not earn a spot on the ballot in certain states. If they declared themselves an independent, however, they would get on the ballot and could hurt Trump severely. At this point, no one from the far-right has challenged the President, but it’s early in the season.

Whether it’s Howard Schultz or Charles Schulz running in a third-party slot,  enough votes can be syphoned leading to a result further away from voters’ values. I remember first-time Gen X voters in 2016 saying they would place a revenge vote against Hillary Clinton because of the DNC email disclosures. I gently warned they could get exactly what they didn’t want by voting for someone having no chance of winning. Sadly, the flaw of our Constitution-based two-party system doesn’t handle more than two parties very well. The math doesn’t support it. If enough third, fourth- or fifth-party candidates run, we could end up with a president having less than 40% of the vote. What kind of mandate would that be?

Knowing he will probably never read my words, this is an open letter to Mr. Schultz. Hey, someone has to speak up. Howard Schultz is a chicken shit, white, rich guy who thinks he will get no respect running in a field of Democrat candidates. He is right. Schultz would never be nominated by the Democrat or Republican party. Let’s investigate why he’s not an electable human being. His is one of those rags to riches stories. He didn’t create Starbucks, he simply observed a successful idea and then bought it. He deserves credit for the expansion and amazing success of selling overpriced coffee to young and old across the world, but we have already experienced a “successful” business person’s presidency bringing nothing but blundering breakdowns to our country.

What does a self-made coffee huckster know about governance and it’s inner working? Most people from business placed into the White House take years to grasp how everything works. This has been proven. General Eisenhower needed a few years to develop a feel for being an effective President, and he was smart.

People who run surely want the job. The driver for these types of folk might be a promise they made when they were younger, a sincere desire to make things better or a ravishing hunger to become the most powerful person in the world. In the third case, it’s all about an overactive ego reaching for the ultimate prize, the attainment of which leads to a sober comprehension of the weight and isolation of a new reality. Can they handle that pressure? What guarantee does a voter have that such a person can responsibility and successfully execute the duties of the office? No guarantee, my friend.

Schultz’s company, Starbucks, has been at the center of some stupid things. The company attempts to project an open and free atmosphere, yet they called the cops when a couple of Black guys sat down in one of their Philly locations. I was never fooled by the faux altruism of “Seattle-type” coffee stores. They are a place of status more than a place “for the people.” To their credit though, they recycle materials, ban straws and work for the environment in ways that that many companies should copy. If we are judging candidate Shultz by the company he built, we can all agree that he has been very successful. I’m not sure why his connections or non-connections to Israel have anything to do with his running for president, but more material facts will surely follow if he gets more serious about campaigning.

I suspect Howard Schultz is unable to separate his ego from his aspiration. If he thinks Donald J. Trump is wrong for America and wants to displace him, he needs to run as a Democrat, not as a third-party candidate. If he’s not smart enough to leave his self-interest at the door and fully understand the nation’s electorate, he shouldn’t run for president. Why vote for someone who would deliver exactly the opposite of what they pledge? We already have a person in the White House who does just that. Of course, Donald Trump isn’t sure what he wants, period.

Stand down Howard Schultz. You are entering a room from which you will not be able to escape. You can waste millions of your own money to get what you don’t want, but that is your right in America. Should you follow your folly you will create Trump Version Two. Howard, enjoy your time with Ralph Nader, Ross Perot and Jill Stein on the wall of big blunders. If you were truly a brave American rather than a wimpy coward, you would run as a Democrat.

Trump Whisperer Gets Caught in the Web

It’s time. When someone from the Trump camp says they did nothing wrong, we must turn over that stone and see the evidence. When Trump himself continually says “No Collusion,” we have a pattern of denial that is baked into the man’s shallow credibility. When Roger Stone claimed there was no evidence linking the 2016 Presidential campaign to Russian interference and leaked DNC emails he was lying, just like his buddy, Trump.

There are a lot of things Donald Trump could do to ease the anger that is being fueled by his obvious lack of candor and the thousands of lies he has told, but I doubt that will ever happen. There are clear signs of obstruction of justice in this case, as well as a genuine lack of respect for the law.

Roger Stone is an old school political operative who has worked for Republican politicians like Richard Nixon, Ronald Reagan, Jack Kemp and Bob Dole. Many of his actions may have not been unlawful but they were certainly awful. Most people who know him say this man would do anything to help his client get elected. In the 25-page indictment of Roger Stone, it’s clear that he truly believes he is above the law. His long, late-night conversations with Donald Trump made Mr. Stone more than an employee. He’s a co-conspirator in the attempted hijacking of America’s democratic process.

Stone has been charged with obstruction of justice, making false statements to law enforcement and attempting to persuade a witness to provide false testimony to, and withhold pertinent information from, investigators. The latter is the very reason Paul Manafort has been jailed since he was charged. Why shouldn’t Roger Stone also be incarcerated now?

There are many more shoes that will likely drop and one must ask some basic questions. If you could have a president who didn’t lie, would that be better than the president we have now? Would you like to have a president who has a reasonable understanding of America’s political strength in the world and our need to help keep global peace? Would you like to have a president who doesn’t seem to be working for Putin and Russia? Well, assuming we all want that, we have the wrong president. It’s time to Impeach Trump before he is arrested. He’s been lying through this whole mess.

Why can’t we just get back to NORMAL government? Who framed Roger Stone? He framed himself, just another narcissistic human being trying to seem like a big shot with Donald Trump. As the bullshit veneer is stripped away from the packaging of lies and deceit, Stone and others like him will all go down. They are an embarrassment to the United States of America!

Trump Shows His Major Weakness, Again

Donald J. Trump is clearly the worst president in my lifetime, pushing Richard Nixon out of that insidious position. Once again, his winning any game he is playing is more important then what is good for the country. He creates an environment where he must then boldly act to solve the very problem he created.

Trump lambasted China with tariffs which deeply affected our soy bean farmers in the Midwest. Then, he asked the US taxpayers to help our farmers out of a problem of his own creation. Trump’s actions made the prices of soy beans decrease by 50%, thereby crushing the very people who voted for him. Why wasn’t this better thought out?

He demanded money for a border wall, got $20 billion, then walked away from a grand plan to bond the wall funding with concrete immigration reform. Next, he decided to stonewall Congress and own a shutdown that seriously hurts people. Trump is asking too much of the people who support him. Government agencies, like the IRS, are calling people back to work without pay. What kind of leader is this? How is a worker unessential one day then indispensable the next?

“I will be proud to own a SHUTDOWN!”

Pelosi’s State of the Union delay letter vs. Trump’s No Fly letter is just one example of the stupid things the Goofballs in Washington do all the time. They must be bored with running the country. Trump can’t make things better, he only makes them worse.

And now we get this report from BuzzFeed that President Donald Trump personally directed his longtime former attorney Michael Cohen to lie to Congress about the Moscow Trump Tower project. How many times will we hear the words, “bombshell report” before members of Congress get off their over-fed asses and do something about Trump?

Let’s first reopen the discussion about whether a “sitting President” can be indicted. There is a simple answer here, one that is far above the Department of Justice and the Executive Branch; it’s the very fiber of American Constitutional law. If we truly live in a land of laws, where no man or woman is above the law, then why would a memo that Robert Bork wrote in 2000 keep us from administering justice at the highest level of government? The law must apply to all, and it’s time to test this concept.

Impeachment is the process of cleansing a bad player from one of our three branches of government. It’s not a road well-traveled, but it has been used in the past. The cases against Presidents Andrew Johnson and William Clinton were strong political acts, and they are the only examples of how impeachment has worked in the past. In each case, impeachment proceedings failed to extricate the person from office, but we do have a remedy for a bad actor in the White House. These cases demonstrate that care must be taken to build a foundation of facts and count votes in the Senate before beginning the journey. Nixon would have been convicted, but his party leaders responsibly talked him out of the embarrassment of the ordeal.

By instructing his attorney to lie to Congress, Donald J. Trump has broken the pledge he made during his inaugural swearing-in. “I do solemnly swear that I will faithfully execute the Office of President of the United States, and will to the best of my Ability, preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States.” It’s the latest example of Trump’s greatest weakness; he lies and will do anything needed to mollify his ego. His judgment is impaired. If the cabinet and Vice President were worthy of their power, they would evoke the 25th Amendment. Of course, that will never happen because Mike Pence is a man of little loyalty to truth. He is a weakling trudging the earth, pulling the might yoke of Christianity, which he places above the Constitution.

Let’s be clear. The Trump Tower project was very important to Trump and his organization, now run by his older sons. Some experts believe the Trump Tower in Moscow would have netted Trump more than $300 million. To be clear, the elements of any crime include: one has engaged in conduct in circumstances forbidden by the criminal law and while doing so, had a defined state of mind in relation to the prohibited conduct, knew that deed was wrong, proceeded with the conduct in order to create a favorable result for the individual. If he ordered Michael Cohen to lie to Congress to protect the deal, or hide his non-disclosure, Donald Trump is guilty.

But the final straw that will break the camel’s back will come from Robert Mueller’s report, not the press.

As we get closer to a national realization that Trump is bad for America and his words and actions conflict with American interests. Congress must act. If later we find out that Trump had a plan to help Russia, then we would all be complicit in the destruction of important American values. This man is not making America great again; he is slowly tearing our country apart.

We are America. We are better than this. We don’t need Trump. We need an honest, strong and moral leader.  THIS JUST IN….

Representative Nancy Pelosi comments on Donald Trump’s cancelling of the Congressional Delegation trip to war zones:

“In the middle of the night, the State Department’s Diplomatic Security Service provided an updated threat assessment detailing that the President announcing this sensitive travel had significantly increased danger to the delegation and to the troops, security, and other officials supporting the trip. This morning, we learned that the Administration had leaked the commercial travel plans as well. In light of the grave threats caused by the President’s action, the delegation has decided to postpone the trip so as not to further endanger our troops and security personnel, or the other travelers on the flights.”

America Can Do Better Than This

I woke up this morning with a question thumping through my mind, “Why do Americans have to suffer because of Donald Trump?” For the life of me, I don’t understand why any clear-thinking person can’t see through this bloated baffoon.

First, we do have one of the best economies since right after World War II. Why can’t the boy in power just leave that alone? Why aggravate the situation with emotional trade wars, threating tweets and creating barriers between the US and our allies? If we are doing so well, why would any American have to go without a paycheck? Trump’s theories are ill-conceived and foolish, and they make people go without pay and cause children to die in our custody.

Donald Trump suggests we are going to have to suffer for the short term to fix what he claims has been broken for years, really? For the most part, the world has avoided massive wars during the past 45 years and the economies of most developed countries have been relatively stable. Why screw with that? I don’t believe in Donald Trump. He’s not a king or a deity, but he certainly is a shitty economist.

You can line-up the top economists and Neo-cons in Congress and ask them to explain things, but you will not get a clear answer about what is so wrong with a global economy. We’ve already paid for a better life with cheap clothes and cars. BTW, the air is cleaner in Pittsburgh and a hard drive company now sits where a steel mill used to be. Trump didn’t always buy American steel to build some of his unimaginative buildings, and you can argue that hurt this country. But now that he’s in charge he wants to fix it all. Good luck, fat ass; isolationism works only when you have no friends.

The recent government shutdown, the third in a year, proves that Donald J. Trump is a horrendous executive with zero talent for pre-planning and advanced thinking. We could avoid all this if Trump wasn’t such a stupid politician. Smart politicians get what they want by goals that inflict the least amount of pain on the people they expect to re-elect them.

Trump stood in the rose garden of the White House yesterday and inferred that people who aren’t getting paychecks care more about his wall than the pain they will feel without food on the table. What an out-of-touch human being. What a dolt Donald is.

The Democrats, now swelling with power in the House of Representatives, feel that they must stop Trump. Are their actions purely partisan or are they really executing a brilliant tactic to demonstrate that our leader is only a feckless loser wearing no pants?

What most people don’t understand is that building a wall of the magnitude Trump wants would take decades with a cost close to $200-300 billion. In my hometown, it took six months to repave a one-mile strip of road. At that rate, straight math suggests it would take more than 300 years to build a 2,000-mile border wall.

Donald Trump knows that construction projects take time. Building the Trump Tower in New York took two years, and two people died in the process.

The real problem here folks, as the Donald likes to call you, is that we have a thug-businessman in the White House, and that doesn’t seem to be working in DC. As much as I hate Newt Gingrich, at least he understands that Washington works on its own rules and on its own clock. Trump knows nothing; I’m not at all sure about what skills he has. He certainly doesn’t know how to please all the people who want him to be a real leader, including 60% of American citizens and our allies all over the world.

Trump’s government shutdown over the wall is symbolic of his whole presidency. He cares only about a win for Trump, regardless of the cost to American workers and their families. He casts a shadow over the prospect of meaningful negotiation by saying the government could be shut down for months, maybe years. What a fucking baby. And then he says he could declare a national emergency and build the wall as Commander-in-Chief. Now you know why Mattis quit, General Kelly is gone, and McMaster is missing in action. Yet our lunatic President claims that he knows how America works. Where are the new Generals to step up keep this jagoff under control? Well I call BS. It’s time to impeach the motherfucker. To be clear, both Karen McDougal and Stormy Daniels are mothers.

Major Disagreements on Principle

See that small crack in the wall? As the tremors President Donald J. Trump himself has created shake the foundation of our very republic, we are watching that crack widen and spawn others, threatening the democracy of the United States of America.

There was a time in the last two years, when those words would have been greeted with the admonishment that I was being unreasonable, and that Trump was a good president. His fans would say, “Why are you freaking out? You’ll see it all work out.” It hasn’t. It won’t. It can’t. Donald Trump is disruptive, in a very unproductive way.

The Generals are all leaving him now. Those Generals he so aligned himself with during the campaign so that the America public might see him as the Command-in-Chief we need, rather than the boisterous buffoon he’s always been. The retired military leaders stood on stage with him and waved their hands. One even led the chant of “Lock her up,” but in the end, they were just props for the Donald Show, one we hope doesn’t get renewed for a second season.

People like General Kelly and General Flynn are ideologs Trump used and then threw away. General James N. Mattis, our former Secretary of Defense, is a man of honor and honesty. I said in my book, Donald Trump: Repeal, Replace, Impeach, that Trump picked him based solely on the fact he liked saying his nickname, “Mad Dog Mattis.” While that was unfair to General Mattis, it probably is truer than most of what Trump has said in the past two years.

We have found ourselves in many major disagreements on principle with Donald J. Trump. Things aren’t getting better, they are getting worse. Before we get to February, when Trump will push a partisan into the role of Secretary of Defense, let’s look at Jim Mattis’ serious words.

One line that probably stung Trump the hardest, “One core belief I have always held is that our strength as a nation is inextricably linked to the strength of our unique and comprehensive system of alliances and partnerships.” This brings America to the real debate we’ve been having for the last two or three years, “globalist” vs. “nationalist.” This conundrum Trump has forced to the forefront has been fabricated into the farce one could cynically call the Trump Doctrine.

Mattis is a smart man. He understands how the world works far better than Donald Trump ever will. Let’s think of the world as a giant tree. Some people see only the branches and the limbs but never consider the root system that feeds and supports the mighty plant. Trump sees only the tree. He’s happy when it’s in bloom and fully green, but turns against it when the leaves turn brown and drop to the ground. He would rather cut the tree down and sell the wood, than understand what is really going on. He’s not someone you want leading a country during the autumn and winter months.

We are entering the winter of his presidency and we must shore up our institutions to deal with this bad leader. All the countries of the world are linked. They are the root system that keeps democracy and democracies alive. The principles we bring to the world order are smart strategies based on history, military strength and, most importantly, our calm resolve in the face of calamities. Donald J. Trump is the wrong person to lead the greatest country in the world. He is not worthy.

What Jim Mattis has brought to light is the veracity that Trump has pissed off our allies and given some of the dastardliest regimes a chance to grow. These weeds are out to hurt our allies and eventually take advantage of the United States of America. Mattis has told truth, and for that I respect him greatly.

Which One is Out of Place?

Donald Trump doesn’t believe in America, he believes in Donald Trump. Secretary of Defense Jim Mattis pointed out that, “… we must use all tools of American power to provide for the common defense, including providing effective leadership to our alliances.” And with that line, the head of the pentagon and all our troops was saying that the President is not a good leader. 60% of America already knows this and more Republicans are finally coming to their senses. We have two choices, wait until 2020 and elect someone else, or IMPEACH TRUMP NOW!

America is more than one man. We will survive the departure of Generals Mattis and Kelly, and we certainly don’t need a traitor like Michael Flynn anywhere near the White House, but the natives are restless. People are seeing the results of terrible domestic and foreign policies that have wrought worrisome disarray and disorder. As the true American hero John McCain said, “It’s time we get back to regular order.” And, I might add, as soon as possible.

Ask the farmer who has storehouses full of soybeans he can’t sell. Trump has no idea what he’s doing with trade. Ask the single mother of three who received absolutely no benefit from Trump’s imaginary tax cut. Our child-in-chief has no idea what it’s like to live in American without vast sums of money. Ask the Florida small businesses that were forced to close due to dead fish on the beach. Trump’s environmental policies and “theories” will destroy our land and value as a nation.

We are all Americans, and until we get a president who is there for ALL OF AMERICA, we are less than great. Trump is destroying our nation. I implore both Democrats and Republicans to create an exit strategy for Trump. After he pulls all the troops out of Syria, Afghanistan and Iraq, the Middle East will dissolve to chaos. That will not be good for Israel or America. TRUMP is the PROBLEM. Let’s fix it, now!

Trump Pulls Out of Syria

When the Donald J. Trump Foundation “charity” was forced to closure by New York State, our orange president bearing the same name suddenly announced that all US Troop would be withdrawn from Syria. Did the President of the United States make a major policy decision just to push his foundation problems off the front page. OMG!

Could this decision be part of the promises Trump made behind closed doors to Putin in Helsinki? Our president confuses his campaign promises to his misguided and unhealthy love of the Russian leader. This administration’s Foreign Policy is based on Trump’s myopic viewpoints with no input from experts.

The Senators, both Democrats and Republicans, have become very vocal about this snap decision and some, like Lyndsey Graham, have said this rash move is Obama-like. You cannot present a greater criticism of Trump than comparing him to Obama. So what will Trump do now?

Even Fox News presenters are criticizing our esteemed leader. Rush Limbaugh has declared Trump’s declaration a mistake since he got nothing in return from the other leaders. For once, Rush is making sense.

What a colossal political mistake. Trump just executed a “Mission Accomplished” moment. Putin backs Trump’s move to withdraw US troops from Syria, but only goes as far as saying the Islamic State has been dealt “serious blows.” Even Putin doesn’t believe ISIS is defeated. Trump may have done a deal with the leader of Turkey, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, who convinced him that the Kurds are terrorists and moving troops out of Syria would help the world. How naïve Trump must be.

What we have said here from the beginning is that Trump’s use of Twitter will create a major problem to this country, our security and the world order. He’s not mature enough to have a Twitter account. If I was a millionaire, I would sue Twitter and Trump and seek an injunction against them. There must be a restraining order against the President. TRUMP IS WRONG, and every Republican knows it.

Add this to the impeachment case against Donald J. Trump. Ladies and gentlemen, it’s time to stand up for America!

Russian Campaign to Divide Sounds Like Trump

There is a timeless question that comes to mind here, did the chicken or the egg come first? As we write this piece, a new USA TODAY / Suffolk University poll says that 59% of America distrusts the President and believes he lies. That’s compared to 53% of those surveyed who said they have confidence and trust in Robert Mueller and his investigation into Trump.

This comes out right before researchers from New Knowledge, Columbia University, and Canfield Research, University of Oxford and Graphika will release their findings on the years-long efforts by the Russian Internet Research Agency (IRA) to influence politics and opinions in America by weaponizing social media platforms. The news is not good. really gave a great overview of the findings, “Russia favored Trump over Clinton, Russia especially targeted African Americans, Russian content focused mainly on political and national security issues, not the election itself, Russia’s use of social media was wider than we thought.”

Donald Trump’s greatest failure as President is his lack of action on these facts. He seems to be working for the Russians and protecting them for some reason. This feels eerily like the plot of the movie, The Manchurian Candidate, starring Frank Sinatra. In the movie, soldiers who had been imprisoned during the Korean War were thought to have been brainwashed during their capture. And a presidential candidate might have been compromised and being controlled by the communist menace. Why do I feel like Trump is being controlled by Vladimir Putin?

Much of what the Russian Internet group had propagated via social media before, during and after the election has been parroted by Trump in tweets and at rallies. Is this a case of Trump reading this disinformation campaign online or hearing them on the Fox News channel, or is this a case of Fox and Trump creating these theories and the Russians using their money and time to transmit these mistruths to Americans? Chicken or Egg?

We know from Facebook and Twitter that those Internet research companies based in Russia had purchased large blocks of advertising messages to spread their propaganda and apparently are still doing it. They are even attempting to defame Robert Mueller and the FBI, this is purely an Un-American activity that our current president is endorsing with his words and inaction. Is he simply a Manchurian President?

From the beginning, we’ve said Trump was bad for America. We have never wavered in our strong feelings and analysis of statements and data that show that America is less safe because of President Trump. IMPEACHMENT is the only answer. If you truly believe in America, stop believing in the lying Donald Trump.

Trump Shows His Lack of Leadership, Again

Once again, the Republicans and their head Goofball, Donald Trump, have passed something without the comprehension on how their policy affects people. The Tax Reform the President cheered, was basically a trojan horse that gave a right-wing judge in Texas the justification to throw out the whole Affordable Care Act. What the fine print giveth, a judge wrote some large print to, in a sense, make a new law. Judges are not supposed to write law, they are supposed to judge the constitutionality of a policy.

The fact that the fine, or what Justice Roberts called a tax, was taken away by the president and all his clones in Congress, has created a problem far behind the celebration we saw at the White House. When Trump said that healthcare was very complicated, “who knew” he showed his lack of focus on subject and the reason his lack of reading and understanding anything is a giant flaw in this man. He’s unqualified to be president and has no credibility on any issue. He doesn’t take the time to understand or even take a deeper look to see the pros and cons of any important decision.

The Complicit Members of Congress

Trump tweeted without thinking again, “Wow, but not surprisingly, ObamaCare was just ruled UNCONSTITUTIONAL by a highly respected judge in Texas. Great news for America!” One of the questions someone should ask the president, “How is this good for America?” When our Great Orange Leader cheers taking away people’s healthcare insurance, how can he sleep? Trump is not incurable disease, a deity or an emperor, he can be eliminated with a cure called IMPEACHMENT.

After being excited about the Texas ruling, Trump’s more civil side sent out a tweet that said, “Now Congress must pass a STRONG law that provides GREAT healthcare and protects pre-existing conditions. Mitch and Nancy, get it done!” He totally doesn’t recognize that his bad ideas led to problems. He created the problem by sabotaging the law and then he pushes the problem to Congress as if he is an external satellite only rotating around the people, not really helping them.

With all the complications Trump faces with investigations into every part of his business and governance, he decided to attack SNL. WTF? He positioned the comedy show as part of a vast conspiracy against him. Hate to break the news to him, but it isn’t a conspiracy, they are presenting skits where you are the joke. What the Donald should deal with is the fact that more than 60% of the America public want to laugh at Donald Trump. They love when the court jester shows that the President has no pants.

The number of his rants (tweets) are increasing because he feels like he is under attack, surveillance and being second guessed on everything he does. It’s true, there are many patriots out to get him. They are smart lawyers and law makers who realize that Donald Trump does not respect the law and has no patience for regular order. He wants chaos over calm. He wants dictatorship over leadership. He serves no productive purpose in his current position and should be removed. After he is impeached, the courts can decide whether he is the crook many think he is. But for now, let’s get to it and IMPEACH him. That would make America great, again.
